I go to my phone and turn on some slow jazz music, then grab the bottle of oil that I got from the pack’s supply room earlier today.

I walk over to the bed and move her hair off to the side then I rub some oil into my hands. “Tell me about your day,” I say, as I begin to rub my hands over her shoulders and up her neck.

“I am … oh my goddess. Oh, holy cow that feels good,” she

moans.

“Good, I’m glad,” I say.

I begin working my way through the knots on her neck and shoulders. Her moans do nothing to help my erection, but I expected that. She relaxes before I get to her shoulder blades.

“Did they really teach you this at the Academy?”

“They did. This is how you get to know your partner’s body and how you get them used to being touched by you,” I say, keeping my voice soft.

“The lights, the music, all of it?” she asks, very voice getting deep and drugged sounding as she relaxes.

“The lights, yes. The music, no. I just wanted to set a mood that would help you relax.”

“It’s working,” she says, her words nearly slurring.

“Mmhmm,” she murmurs. I stop talking, letting her fall into the twilight level of sleep.

By the time I get to her feet, she’s snoring softly. I smile as I begin to make my way back up her body.
