Chapter 165

“Oh, well, I’m feeling much better this morning, thank you. Do you happen to know where Alpha Christian is?” I ask. I’m so thankful that he gave everyone a reason for me missing warrior training this morning. Hopefully, facing Christian will be as easy as facing the pack.

“He’s in his office, Alpha.”

“Thank you.”

When I get there, the door is closed. I knock and wait for him to respond.

“Come in.”

When I step in, our eyes lock and I swear his go black.

“Hi,” I say shyly.

I hear him get up and I struggle to look him in the eye.

“For passing out on you,” I say.

“That was intentional on my part. You don’t need to apologize for that.”

I look up at him. “You meant to do that?” I ask, shocked.

“I warned you that if you didn’t stop trying to tease me that I was going to teach you a lesson. I hope it worked.”
