Chapter 12

Sofia’s pov

I run up the stairs to the front door when we reached Betty’s place. The door was locked but that didn’t last long, Kai was right behind me and he pushed me aside before he broke the door down.

I ran in after Kai, I needed to find Betty, from all the commotions from the phone call it had been a horrible beating. I got into the living room and saw Kai stood frozen in place so I looked around.

I then saw a beaten, bruised and bloodied Betty laying naked on the floor. I teared of Kai’s jacket and run over to Betty put the jaket over her body to shield her from all the guys looking at her body.

I know they all respect her and I know they love her. She is like a sister to us but they do not need to see her like this. Kai was still just frozen in place looking at Betty and the other guys came into the house and staring at her with so much sadness, anger and worry written on their face.

Then we suddenly heard some sound from upstairs, and a manly voice shouted “WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU MAKING SO MUCH RUKUS ABOUT BITCH?” we all could clearly hear he is both drunk and high.

This snapped the guys out of their trance. They all run upstairs but Kai turned around looking at me, “Sofia, can you carry her out to the car carefully? We will be there shortly. And have one of the other man ready their car to bring in two prisoners.” He commended in a serious tone, which told me he is in business

mode.

“Yes boss leave it to me!” I nodded, and I saw Kai run upstairs where we heard the other guys were beating the shit out of someone, the Don wanted them alive so he have to make sure they are alive.

At least when we bring them in on Don orders. Don and the other leaders will be here later and we don’t want to be on their bad side! I turned to face my poor Betty again and seeing her like this broke my heart.

No one deserve this, especially Betty, she is as good as they come. I made sure that Kai’s jacked covered har more private parts before carefully lifted her up bridal style in my arms, shocked over how light she is.

I made my way out to the car me and others arrived in, I told one of our guard members named Jack to make sure the other SUV was ready to transport 2 prisoners.

He took a little glance at an unconscious Betty in my arms and I could so pure anger in his eyes. He then looked back up at me, “you got it boss” he said in a serious tone before got over to the other SUV we brought with us with some of the other guards of our branch of the Mafia.

I got into the back seat with Betty/still in my arms, she is so small, it’s crazy to think that she is 17 years old, she looks to be around 155 cm tall at most, and she can’t be weighing more than 35 kg. I have never really noticed how small she is for her age, she always wears baggy clothes.

We have alway considered her our most important person in our life after we meet her but we failed to noticed the hell she have been living. She is so good at hiding her pain from everyone.

Chapter 12

She could become a great actress if she want too honestly. I caressed the side of her chin with my left hand while still holding her up against me with my right. I tucked some of her hair behind her ear just taking in the state she is in.

My eyes got filled with tears again, I have not cried so much in my whole life combined as I have today! Betty’s life story broke my heart, I know there is some sick crazy people in this world but her parents are one of the worst. How could they treat her like that.

Suddenly the rest of the guys comes into the car and when they got a look at Betty in my arms they just stared at her. Kai got in the driver seat, Axel got in the passenger seat. Silas and Christian got into the backseat, I saw they had a few bags with them, I guess they have packed some of Betty’s stuff.

Sebastian sat next to me, he gave me a look silently asking if he could hold her. I know he needs this right now, we all do but after Betty saved his life four years ago Betty have become his reason to live.

She did that for all of us without even trying. I nodded my head and Sebastian took Betty carefully out of my hands and hold her carefully but tightly on his lap pulling her against his chest. I saw Sebastian sheed a few tears that was rolling down his chin.

I cleared my voice and asked the others “What about her parents, where are they now?” I swear to God I will make them pay for hurting Betty.

“Jack and the others will take them to our second wearhouse, they will make sure everything is set for the Don and the rest when they arriving here. We will get Betty home, and have Phil take a look at her injures. The Don is arriving in a few hours with some of the top leaders and a few more guards.” Kai explained with his stern voice, I could see in the rearview mirror he casting worried glances at Betty from time to time.

The ride back home was quiet and somber. I don’t think anyone of us knew what to say, we were all just looking at Betty worried. Sebastian was caressing her hair carefully with his right hand while holding her close with his left.

Giving her a few kisses on the forehead here and there throughout the drive home. This poor girl have truly been living in hell her whole life. But she will be safe now.

She will be with us, and we will take good care of her! When we parked the car, Kai rushed out the driver side door over to the back door he open it and gave Sebastian a look.

Sebastian nodded his head and carefully handed our unconscious Betty to him. He hold her bridal style, looked at her for a second before kissing her forehead and then started to walk towards the door where Phil is already waiting with a gurney and a few nurses and some other doctors, ready to rush Betty to get taken care of.

And now we were in for a waiting/game, waiting for news about Betty and waiting for our Don and the other leaders to arrive. This is gonna be a long night!
