Jayden’s pov.

I’m sitting here with this tiny girl on my lap, I would be overjoyed have such a beauty on my lap normally but Angelina is so scared. She looked so happy, full of life, laughing and joking around with

us all, all day.

Now she looks like she is so scared for her life. And that is because her father showed rage and

anger. What have this poor girl been through in her life?

I carefully pulled her tighter into my chest, holding around her with my arms like I’m trying to

shield her from the world around us. I have known her less then a day but she already have made

her way into my cold little heart!

I know I’m not deserving of her, but I will make sure this girl will always be happy and safe! I put my head on top of hers. Caressing her back and slowly rock her back and forth. “Shush baby girl, you are

safe!” I kept say this to her over and over.

Like I have said I’m not the right person for this, I’m usually the guy that can just whisper in a girls

ear and they are ready to tear their clothes and mount me. I have never had a girlfriend.

I just need girls for one thing, and it’s not to talk to them. This is so new to me, but seeing Angelina

so broken down it truly is pulling on my heart strings. “Angel please come back to me, it truly is

breaking me seeing you like this. I know we barely know each other, but I can tell you have a heart

of gold!” I kissed the top of her head.

“Please baby, I need you to calm down and come back here to me!” I kept caressing her and her

crying have stopped a little, I think I do something right. “Angelina, please come back, everyone is so

worried about you!” I kissed the top of her head again.

I felt she move her arms a little to get a grip on my shirt. I look down on her and she have stopped

crying, so I slowly release my grip on her. “No, please” I heard the angelic voice of Angelina talking

into my chest.

“Please hold me a little longer” She said with such a broken voice while gripping my shirt a little tighter! I pull my arms back around her again. “I will hold you as long as you need!” I whisper with a

voice full of love and warmth.

I had never believed if the past me would tell me that one day I would have such a sweet moment with a girl I would believe I had gone crazy. “I got you baby girl, I’m right here!” I whispered to her.

“Thank you Jayden, I know you don’t know me and I’m seem like this broken, weird, crazy girl and you have no obligation to me but here you are!” she spoke so softly, but so much appreciation.

Chapter 48.

“Hey Angel, it’s nowhere I rather wanna be then right here with you right now!” I said kissed the top of her head again. She hugged me tightly, “you say that now, but when you learn how broken I really is I’m sure you don’t want anything to do with me!” she still spoke into my chest so I could barely hear her.

“Angel, nothing you say can scare me away!” I don’t know what it is with this girl she draw me in and I don’t want to leave her or see her being hurt.

“Talk to me Angel, I’m right here, and I know you don’t know me well yet, but I will always be here for you and nothing you say can scare me away!” I said with a low voice looking down on her beautiful face.

She looked up at me slowly, her beautiful crystal blue eyes looking into mine like she was searching for something. What she said next knocked all air out of me.

“I have been beaten, stabbed, slashed, shot, whipped, raped and sold off for as long as I can remember!” She said it still looking me straight into my eyes. And I could not see any lies in her eyes, she was being serious.

What have this poor girl been dealing with. I now understand why Daniel, Ricky, Ricci and Rossi was so overprotective over her today. Not only have she been missing for twelve years but she have also been through hell. I was just sitting there staring into her her eyes with my jaw dropped to the floor.

She then moved her gaze down to my chest, “see, I’m broken beyond repair and you must be disgusted by me” she said quietly then tried to stand up.

“Angel” I tighten my arms around her, and she stopped trying to stand up. I took one of my hands on her cheek gently, caressing it with my thumb wiping away some remains of tears on it, when I did some of her makeup got removed with my action. She have bruises on her face, this poor girl. I looked into her eyes and her in mine.

“Angel, I’m not disgusted by you one bit! What have happened to you in the past is not your fault, and you are not broken beyond repair, your past makes you the person you are today, and what I see is one badass girl that have survived hell and your life will only get better now that you are with your family, you are back where you belong and life will only go up from now!” I kept looking into her eyes while speaking to her.

I meant every word I told her. She kept looking into my eyes then I see a small smile on her beautiful face and my heart skip a beat. What is this girl doing to me?

She then suddenly start coughing like crazy and her hands get filled with blood, then out of the blue she suddenly started to throw up blood. Panic fills me faster than I could think, both me and Angelina is both full of blood she is still throwing up.

I carefully lift her up bridal style storming out of the dining room. “THEO” I shout in panic, “THEO ANGELINA NEED YOU!” 1 kept shouting, where did they say they would go?.. Right living room.

Chapter 48.

“THEO” I shouted while running towards the living room. Theo comes storming out of the the living room, rushing up to me, “What happened?” he is now in his doctor mode. “We were just talking a little after she had calmed down, then she started to cough then throw up” I was explaining while Theo guided me rushing us to the medical wing of the house.

We stormed into a room, “Please lay her down here” he said, I rushed up to the bed, laying Angelina

down on it, but before I could pull away “Thank you Jay” I heard Angelina whisper weak in my ear, before I felt a small kiss on my cheek.
