Tiana adored Felicity and stuck to her like a shadow. She grabbed her hand the instant she saw her and simply wouldn't let go.

When they got home, the two of them strolled into the house hand in hand, chatting and laughing all the way.

"Miss Felly, next time you go rock climbing, you have to take me with you! I really want to learn," Tiana said eagerly.

Felicity grinned, teasing her, "Just promise you won't burst into tears halfway up the wall."

"I won't!" Tiana lifted her chin, brimming with pride. "But if I do, I'll give you my brand-new Stitch plushie, Miss Felly."

Felicity burst out laughing. "Deal!"

Their ease with each other was so natural, so like a true mother and daughter, that it brought smiles to the faces of the watching staff.

Just then, a maid named Tabitha emerged from the kitchen. "Tabitha," Tiana called out, "for dinner I want stir-fried beef—make it extra tender, please!"

She hadn't had beef stir-fry in over a week; she used to eat a plate of it every day.

After making her request, Tiana glanced up at Felicity, seeking her opinion. "Would you like beef stir-fry too, Miss Felly?"

"I love it!" Felicity replied warmly.

But Tabitha's expression faltered. "Oh? Uh… sure, of course. Anything else?"

Tiana handed the choice over to Felicity. "You can pick whatever you want, Miss Felly."

Felicity smiled. "Let's keep dinner light—good for our figures. How about a classic Caprese salad? Julian brought it for me once. It was so healthy and delicious."

Tabitha hesitated, lips pressed together, but nodded. "Alright… Anything else?"

The three of them, cheerful as ever, disappeared into the living room, laughter trailing behind them. With a heavy heart, however, Tabitha walked out of the house. She pulled out her phone and dialed a number.
