So she forced a polite smile. “I understand, Miguel. I’ll take Amelia as my role model.”

She also knew Miguel and Amelia had always been especially close.

Since he clearly wasn’t going to take her side, she let it go for now.

The last thing she needed was to anger Miguel so soon after falling out with Marcelo.
