“She’ll be praying. When you return, we’ll have dinner together,” Lycannar replied from where he sat, his gaze never leaving me.

Blue had bathed me earlier, and I’d decided to dress myself while she had set the table for breakfast.

Lycannar watched in silence, eyes fixed on me as I slipped into my dress. I struggled a bit with the zipper, and soon I heard his chair scrape softly against the floor. He stood and walked toward me.

I relaxed, thinking he only meant to help me with the zipper but I was wrong.

His palm slid into my dress, cupping my breast. A shaky sigh escaped my lips as I leaned back against him. My gods… I had forgotten how much I missed him, how much he could make me feel with just a touch.

He studied me in silence, then smiled. My heart fluttered. That smile, so beautiful, so genuine.
