After her conversation with Gian, Danielle hung up the phone.
Her thesis had already been reviewed and approved by Mr. Hawthorne.
With that reassurance, Danielle submitted her final draft.
Once it was sent off, she stared at her screen and let out a quiet sigh of relief.
The next morning, Danielle arrived at the Blackwood Research Institute.
She could hear a group of engineers chatting nearby.
“Did you hear? AetherX Dynamics has developed something completely new. If it works, they’ll have an exclusive patent.”
“Really? Miss Fletcher’s company just started, and they’re already making waves?”
“AetherX Dynamics is backed by Newsworld Group, which is a giant in aerospace engineering. Since AetherX launched, they’ve attracted top talent. Honestly, it’s not impossible for them to develop something groundbreaking this quickly.”
After all, the younger generation always seems to come up with ideas nobody expects.
Spotting Danielle, one of them called out, “Hey, do you know much about AetherX Dynamics? I heard Ninesky’s working with them.”
Danielle smiled politely. “Not really, no.”
AetherX Dynamics had just had two major partners pull out, leaving their funding in question. Yet, somehow, they were still making progress.
She hadn’t expected Millie to be capable of pulling this off.
But as the others had said, AetherX Dynamics was teeming with talent—new ideas were bound to happen.
Still, the hype seemed a little overblown.
“Seems like even their partners aren’t in the loop. This new project supposedly rivals what Ninesky’s building—something more convenient and less expensive to produce.”
Danielle poured herself a cup of coffee, arching an eyebrow. “That sounds promising. If it benefits the country, I wish them luck.”
If AetherX Dynamics really could pull it off, she would genuinely be happy for her homeland.
Everyone seemed eager to bring AetherX Dynamics on board.
After all, they were backed by Newsworld.
Danielle said, “Let’s wait until they actually deliver. Talk is cheap until something real comes out of it.”
With their announcement, AetherX Dynamics started looking for collaborators.
They held a bidding conference, drawing scores of companies—most of them enticed by Newsworld’s reputation.
Gian glanced at his phone, then asked Danielle, “Want to go check it out? See what the competition is up to?”
“You go ahead,” Danielle said. “I need to finish updating our project files for the Blackwood Institute and get ready for the ISSDS European finals.”
“Just give me the highlights afterward.”
This kind of spectacle, she was more than happy to skip.

Where is Chapter 545 - 554? I thought there'll be 9-10 chapters per update....
I knew it! He’s in love with her but he thinks she loves his brother!...
Oh poor Bianca... regrets, regrets :)...
This is it! Revenge. Way to go Dani....
OMG! Chapters 451-462 had me on edge. I wish we could also read Alexander's POV. I swear I want to punch him and Millie. This story is kind of a push and pull. The main character will win some, then lose some. Hope the writer gives Danielle a big win....
I hope not a lot of important dialogues get cut out, especially between Danielle and Alexander. But I can't complain, really. Thank you again for the updates....
I'm already in chapter 432 ATM and I have the impression that the story is so slow. Daniele remains in the dark, her reputation is low and inexistent, her accomplishment and professional abilities are stiĺl hidden, her enemies are taking the joy in humiliatihg her. No evolution in the plot? Please don't stay long in this, readers might lose interest in the long run....
