Chapter 170 Amalie
Dinner is wonderful and vibrant. Laughs flow all around me as people eat. Seats are constantly being changed as dinner goes on. At some point I am shuffled to the living room. Kira, Kayla, and I find ourselves on the couch. I’m sandwiched between the two. A flash goes of as someone snaps a picture.
kayla started out the night reserved. But as the night progressed, she came out of her shell. She has a quick wit and a genuine smile. I’m excited for her to become the Delta female.
Kim joins us as does Vickie. The five of us pile onto the couch and more pictures are taken. Rose, not wanting to be left out, comes running towards us. She climbs into my lap so she can get her picture taken.
Vickie snags Rose from lap as Mike and Will come into the living room. The girls get up, and my dads take their place. Mike transfers himself from the wheelchair to the couch with ease. Both men wrap their arms around me, and we smile.
“I get,” Rose complains as she makes grabby hands towards me.
Vickie hands Rose to me and the four of us get a few more pictures.
“Now have your mates join,” Gretchen says.
The twins join us by walking behind the couch. A few more pictures are taken.
“Gretchen, Robert, will you join us?” I ask.
James pulls out his phone to get pictures as the older pair join us for pictures. I laugh as more pictures are taken.
‘You doing okay?‘ Mark asks as he leans down and places a kiss on my cheek.
‘Perfect,‘ I tell him through the link.
“Cake,” dad, Will, says. He stands up from the couch and moves his mate’s wheelchair back towards the couch.
Goddess, I need to come up with a way to know who I am talking about. I don’t want to call them both uncle anymore.
“You know we will have to come up with grandparent names for Rose and the soon to be baby,” Mike says as if reading my mind.
“Good,” I sigh in relief. “I don’t want to call you uncle anymore. But calling you both dad is going to get confusing.”
“I call dibs on Pop pop,” Will says excitedly.
“What am I supposed to go by?” Mike challenges as he shifts to his wheelchair.
“Someone can go by grandpa,” I point out.
“We figured Robert would want to go by that,” Will says.
“Oh, it would have to be okay with Rose and Ama,” Robert says as he looks at me.

Chapter 170 Amalie
“I’m okay with that,” I tell him. Gretchen has already cemented her place as being called my grandmother and Rose calls her Gigi. “Rosebud, do you understand what is happening today?” I ask my pup.
She turns her head and looks up at me.
“Uncle Will and Uncle Mike adopted me, making them my dads now. This makes you their granddaughter and them your grandpas I explain.
“Was already grandpas,” Rose says in confusion as she looks around.
Maybe I should have already had this conversation with Rose without so many people around. “Yes, they are,” I tell her. “But we just made it official. Now, Thomas and Maric are no longer, legally, my parents. If something happens, you have other family to take care of you.”
“Nothing is going to happen to you,” Cal quietly growls in my car.
I ignore him for the moment. He can’t know for sure if something will or won’t happen. I have a witch for my head and missing pack members. Why can’t everyone who is after me just disappear or fuck off? I cut off a sigh.
“Mommy?” Rose asks.
“I’m fine, because this is a happy night,” I tell her as I place a kiss on her nose.
Rose lets out a giggle.
“Come on, munchkin. Cake time,” dad says as he places Rose on his lap. He wheels himself back towards the kitchen.
“You doing okay?” Mark asks as he reaches over and squeezes my hand.
“A little overwhelmed, but it’s going to be okay,” I say with a smile. “Wait, he said cake?”
“Yep, James and Jimmy picked one up from the human town a few miles away,” my father says.
Okay, I have decided, Mike is dad and Will is father. Mark is daddy and Cal is papa for Rose. She has two dads and now I have two dads. I smile at this thought.
“What has you smiling?” Cal asks as he pulls me up off the couch.
