The Taylor family was known for their strict household manners, especially in the presence of elders, the sight of Enoch and Drusilla being all lovey-dovey was quite the embarrassment.
Yet, Enoch seemed unfazed. He was patiently relishing in Drusilla's attentions.
Blythe, sitting aside, laid her fork down on the table and addressed Enoch, "Enoch, what exactly are your thoughts regarding those two kids?"
She couldn't believe he'd simply indulge Drusilla like this!
Enoch was well aware his mother was pressuring him to take those kids back.
"My darling doesn't like them, so no. I won't be taking the two kids back," he declared.
Drusilla, spoon-feeding him soup, choked upon hearing his words.
Good lord, why did it feel like she just lost a few decades of her life in an instant?
Looking at Enoch, she noticed he could say such a thing without batting an eye!
This guy…
It was clearly his own decision not to take the kids back. His family would hate her more with such a statement.
The rest of the Taylor family, except for Wendell, all looked at Drusilla with complex eyes.
Lilith initially thought Enoch would tone down after Blythe's anger, but now, while she was hearing his words, she couldn't believe it, "Uncle, how could you say such a thing? Do you have any idea how upset Grandma is? Even if you adore Auntie, you should still take care of your own children."
"My children?" Enoch responded, "What children? I’m not aware of any."
He then turned to Blythe, "Mom, I know you want me to have kids soon. Don't worry, Drusilla and I will try our best. We hope to give you a grandchild within these next few years. But... let's not bring those frauds into our home anymore."
Harlan, sitting aside, initially ready to enjoy Drusilla's drama, lost his appetite at Enoch's words.
Was Enoch really planning to have children with Drusilla?
