Twins - The Unforeseen Legacy of My Ex's Uncle-in-Law novel Chapter 25

"Isn’t Odette here! I knew Odette was a good kid."

Drusilla was speechless. Had Wendell mistaken her for Odette?

For some reason, the old man's gaze felt incredibly warm and familiar.

Wendell said to Enoch, "I want Odette to feed me."

Enoch glanced at Drusilla, "Come here."

Drusilla approached, taking the bowl from his hands, and said to Wendell, "Alright, Grandpa, I'll feed you."

She sat down and began to feed Wendell, who, despite his usual stubbornness, ate obediently.

Enoch, sitting aside, looked on with contentment. He observed Drusilla, her gentleness while feeding, and thought perhaps it was fate that his grandpa took such a liking to her.

Having her marry into the family had brought unexpected joy.

...

Harlan had just finished drying off with a towel when he saw Drusilla feeding Wendell. The old man was eating so well, which made him frown.

What was this about?

Every time he and Lilith came to visit Wendell, they never had such a pleasant time.

Yet, here she was, and the old man seemed to adore her.

Absolutely preposterous!

While eating, Wendell asked Drusilla, "Odette, when are you getting married?"

Drusilla glanced at Enoch and told Wendell, "Enoch and I are already married."
