Lilith shot a look at Drusilla, then turned to Blythe and Enoch, saying, "Grandma, Uncle Enoch, I used to quite like this woman, but now, I hope you can kick her out! I just can't stand having someone like her around. She's so shameless, who knows what she'll do next."
Hearing Lilith's words, Harlan finally breathed a sigh of relief. He glanced at Drusilla with a smirk, thinking she really thought she could bring him down, not knowing the bond he shared with Lilith.
Even if the entire Taylor family disapproved of him, it didn't matter as long as Lilith forgave him. They had no ground to stand on.
Drusilla faced Harlan, saying, "Harlan, you're just as shameless as your mother. You couldn't have children, so you tricked me into going to the hospital to have them, and now you're accusing me of infidelity?"
Harlan retorted, "Now that I'm exposing you, you start spouting nonsense? Hospital births? Then show me the evidence!"
Drusilla's face darkened, remembering the documents. All the paperwork for the childbirth had been handled by him, and when he decided he didn't want the kids anymore, all evidence was destroyed.
She had even gone to the hospital, but to no avail...
His confidence stemmed from knowing she had no evidence!
The man was truly cunning.
Lilith said, "Dr. Lawson, stop trying to stir up trouble. Will you leave on your own, or shall I have someone escort you out?"
Her patience with Drusilla had reached its limit, unwilling to listen to her nonsensical allegations. She wouldn't believe a word Drusilla said, especially after almost being misled by her about Harlan.
Drusilla, looking at Lilith, realized she was truly naive, led by the nose by Harlan.
