Enoch, with a hint of a smirk, replied, "Harlan mentioned something about your character being a bit... off. Seems he might have a point."

Drusilla's jaw dropped. She stared at him, a storm brewing in her eyes.

"You're leaving then? What about my physiotherapy sessions? You promised to help with that. Walking out now doesn't exactly scream commitment," Enoch remarked, his tone dripping with disdain.

Harlan chimed in, "Uncle Enoch, I can find someone else for your treatment. As for her, she's nothing but a charlatan. Wouldn't want her making you worse off!"

Enoch shot Harlan a cold look. "Since when did I ask for your opinion?"

Harlan blinked, taken aback by Enoch's sudden outburst. Perhaps it was his own failed marriage that had soured Enoch's mood.

Choosing silence, Harlan backed off.

Lilith weighed in, "Uncle Enoch, Harlan's right. We can't keep someone with her reputation around. It's bad for the family."

"But physiotherapy can be managed by anyone. I certainly don't want her lingering around, potentially ruining things between me and Harlan," Lilith added, her frown deepening at the thought of Drusilla staying.
