Twins - The Unforeseen Legacy of My Ex's Uncle-in-Law novel Chapter 98

Enoch said, “That’s good then. Go pack your stuff, alright? I’ll have Oberon pick you up. I want to see you at home when you get discharged tomorrow night.”

“It’s not that…”

“Alright, you can leave now.” He didn’t give her a chance to argue, but just had Oberon practically shove her out the door.

Drusilla cleared her throat lightly, glanced at Oberon beside her, and asked, “Mr. Taylor was joking, wasn’t he?”

Oberon said seriously, “He never jokes about serious matters. I believe he means it.”

“He really wants me to stay over?” Drusilla said, “Are you sure his head’s on straight?”

Oberon, being Enoch's loyal sidekick, gently reminded her, “Ma’am, please watch your words.”

Drusilla rolled her eyes. She was totally at a loss for words.

Oberon said, “Please go back and get your things ready. Then I’ll come to fetch you.”

So, the boss and his sidekick were seriously planning on delivering her to Enoch’s bed?

That evening, Enoch had Drusilla stay home to pack, so they didn’t ask her to go to the hospital. She stayed at home and made dinner for the two little ones.

During dinner, Cormac brought his bowl to the camera, livestreaming while eating.

Drusilla sat alone at the dining table, pondering over Enoch.

Moving in was out of the question. But figuring out how to cool him off and find an excuse to brush it off was her current task.

As she was mulling over this, the doorbell rang.

Drusilla went to open the door and saw Verena standing there, “What brings you here?”
