Chapter 104
Gerald got her signal and frowned. “Aveline is one of my WhatsApp contacts. You don’t think she saw it, got angry, and posted it online, do you?”
Hearing this, Xavier gave Gerald a long look, his brow furrowing slightly.
Josephine studied Xavier’s expression and said with a look of shock, “Oh, no way. Why would my sister do that? It’s just a photo from behind. What’s there to be angry about?”
“Darling, should I go explain things to my sister?”
Xavier’s expression was indifferent. He walked over to the sofa, sat down, picked up his glass, took a sip of wine, and then said coolly,
“You don’t need to explain anything to anyone. I saw the photo. It’s fine.
I already had Claude take care of it.”
Josephine breathed a sigh of relief. “That’s good. As long as it’s taken care of.
I would’ve felt terrible if it caused you any trouble.”
Xavier swirled the wine in his glass. “You didn’t take the picture, and you didn’t post it. There’s nothing for you to feel bad about. It’s unnecessary.”
Josephine smiled, “Darling, you’re so good to me.”
Xavier didn’t say anything, his gaze lowered to the golden whiskey in his glass, seemingly lost in thought.
Josephine and Gerald exchanged a look, then she picked up her phone and sent Gerald a message.
[Thanks.]
Gerald’s phone vibrated in his pocket. He took it out, looked at it, and replied: [No problem. Treat me to dinner some- time.]
[But, you’ve got a mole on your Social Feed.]
Josephine: [It must have been Aveline who posted it online. She’s not my friend on WhatsApp, but Jasmine is friends with Marjorie. Marjorie probably shared the photo from my Social Feed, Jasmine saw it, and then sent it to Aveline.]
Gerald frowned, [Then you should tell Marjorie not to just share photos from your Social Feed anymore, especially the ones of you and Xavier.]
[If you want to get into the’s inner circle, you can’t piss off the Patriarch.]

Chapter 104
Josephine: [Okay.]
Just then, the door to the private dining room opened, and Fiona walked in with a cold look on her face.
288 Vouchers
Xavier, Gerald, and Josephine all looked at her. Gerald scoffed, “What’s with that look? Who here owes you bil- lions?”
Fiona walked to the coffee table and said to Xavier, looking down at him, “I’m here to tell you, if there are no issues with the agreement Gerald gave me, I’ll take it to Aveline to sign tomorrow, and then have you sign it too.”
Xavier’s dark eyes were devoid of emotion as he looked at her, saying flatly, “Mm, no problem.”
Gerald chuckled, “What, Aveline agreed to sign? She’s not going after half of Xavier’s fortune anymore?”
Fiona glared coldly at Gerald, “Don’t judge a gentleman by your own petty standards. Aveline didn’t want a single penny in the first place. It was Xavier who insisted on drafting a new agreement.”
“Hmph, he’s probably just afraid that if the agreement gets leaked, the whole world will condemn him for being heart- less and cruel.”
Gerald said scornfully, “Leaked?
If Aveline didn’t leak it, who would?
Let me ask you, did Aveline post that photo online or not?”
Fiona saw that not only Gerald, but Xavier and Josephine were also looking at her, and she seethed inwardly.
“You actually suspect Aveline posted it online?
Aveline didn’t even take that photo, how could she post it online?”
As she spoke, she glared at Xavier and Josephine, “If you have the guts to take a picture like that, why are you afraid of it being posted online?”
Xavier laughed, “What’s wrong with a picture like that?
Is there a problem?”
Seeing that Xavier could still laugh, Fiona became even more furious. “Whether there’s a problem or not, you know damn well.”
