Urging Him to Get a Divorce novel Chapter 234

Chapter 234

Aveline, however, thought it was better that Josephine hadn’t fallen. If she really had, it would have been hard for her to explain herself.

She had just reacted instinctively, so she’d forgotten this was Alfred’s house.

Xavier at least had some decency and didn’t let Josephine fall into his arms.

When Xavier and Josephine returned, Aveline didn’t give them a single glance.

After exchanging a few words with Alfred, Aveline noticed it was getting late, and she had to drive back to Mount Ardwood early the next morning.

Just as she was about to say something, Sebastian saw her check the time and spoke up first. Mr. Jenkins, it’s getting late. You should get some rest, so we’ll be taking our leave.

Mmm, tomorrow’s Monday, and you young people have to be up early for work. Alright, head home and get some rest.

Alfred walked them all to the main gate.

Aveline caught Xavier looking at her out of the corner of her eye, but she ignored him and got into Sebastian’s car.

The cars drove out of the Morgan Estate one after another.

Aveline’s phone, in her purse, chimed with a notification. As she reached in to get it, her hand brushed against some- thing that felt like a box.

Confused, she looked into her purse and saw a cell phone box.

How did this get into her purse?

Aveline’s mind flashed, and a suspicion formed.

Her face cold, she took out her phone and looked at the message.

As expected, it was a message from Xavier, [A new phone I bought for you.]

[I know you bought one too, but keep this as a spare. You might drop it again someday.]

Aveline sneered silently, [Xavier, next time I’ll smash it in your face.]

Xavier replied quickly, [Wait until the agreement is signed before you think about murdering your dear husband for the inheritance.]

Aveline looked at the message, biting her lip, and remembered the day she saved Xavier.

If that day she hadn’t loved Xavier so much, hadn’t been more afraid of him dying than she was for herself, and hadn’t

saved him.

Then, Xavier probably wouldn’t be in this world anymore.

Aveline gave a selfdeprecating laugh and replied to Xavier, [Yeah, of course. I saved you back then just so I could inherit your massive fortune one day.]

The Zimmerman family suspects her of posing as Xavier’s savior, so what do they think her motive is?

Of course, they think she’s after the’s money.

Xavier didn’t reply again.

Aveline put her phone back in her purse and said to Fiona, If Gerald doesn’t produce the agreement on Tuesday, get ready to help me file for divorce in court.

Fiona looked at her. You’ve made up your mind?,

Aveline nodded. I’ve made up my mind.

Sebastian, sitting in the passenger seat, glanced at the rearview mirror but didn’t say anything.

After dropping Fiona off at her home, Sebastian then drove Aveline back to Parkview Estates.

On the way, Sebastian suddenly spoke up, asking her, You’re planning to file for divorce in court?

Aveline nodded. Yes.

Mr. Beltran doesn’t want to get divorced?

Aveline gave a silent, mocking laugh. Yeah, he should be the one who wants it.

But he keeps dragging it out. Maybe the Patriarch doesn’t approve, so he has no choice but to stall.

Sebastian was silent for a moment, then said, If you need any help, let me know.
