Urging Him to Get a Divorce novel Chapter 89

Chapter 89

Aveline looked up and saw the black Bentley parked not far away, but the windows were closed, so she couldn’t see inside.

She said coldly, There’s no need. I’ve called for a designated driver service.

Josephine was definitely in the car. Was she supposed to get in and watch him and Josephine be all loveydovey?

The driver said, troubled, Mr. Beltran said that a designated driver service isn’t safe either.

Aveline laughed, Amy Morgan, go back and tell him this for me: Xavier, are you on something? You’re actually worried about my safety now? I’ve been using designated driver services for years.

The driver was stunned and speechless.

Sebastian spoke up then, Don’t worry, I’ll take her home. Surely Mr. Beltran isn’t worried about me.

The driver, helpless, could only return to the Bentley.

Mr. Beltran

The driver, sitting in the driver’s seat, turned to look at Xavier in the back, unsure how to relay Aveline’s message.

Xavier said calmly, I heard her.

Just drive.

Josephine glanced at him, but the car was quite dark, so she couldn’t make out his real expression. Judging from his tone, he didn’t seem to care; he wasn’t angry or sad.

Josephine’s lips curved up slightly, but she sighed and said, My sister’s temper latelyIt must be the Crestmark’s de- sign project that’s stressing her out.

Can she still handle the Mount Ardwood Theme Park project at the same time?

Xavier said lightly, With Bernard backing her up, she’ll be fine.

Josephine chuckled. Yeah, I never realized my sister was so charming. Mr. Harmon admires her, Mr. Clarke admires her, and that senior, Julian, probably likes her too.

I heard that Julian had a crush on my sister back in college.

Xavier chuckled but didn’t say anything.

Josephine didn’t need him to say anything, as long as he took it to heart.

Aveline, of course, had no idea that Josephine was portraying her as a woman who attracted men everywhere.

Because Sebastian insisted, and Fiona also clamored that she must accept, she accepted Sebastian’s kind offer. His driver drove her car back to her studio, while the designated driver service drove Sebastian’s car.

Aveline was thinking that after the Crestmark project was over, maybe the studio should hire a driver.

There would probably be business dinners from time to time, and she, Jasmine, and Julian would need a driver for pickups and dropoffs.

Back at the studio, as soon as she walked in, her phone buzzed. It was a text from Xavier.

[When are you moving to Parkview Estates? The driver can go over and help you move.]

Aveline ignored him, put down her phone, and went to take a shower and sleep.

For the next halfmonth, Aveline, Jasmine, and Julian threw themselves into refining the landscape design for The Luohua Six Peaks Resort. As for moving to Parkview Estates, she planned to do it after submitting the design draw- ings for this project.

Neither Xavier nor the Zimmerman family called or texted her. Amid her busy schedule, she felt a sense of peace.

Communications with the about the Mount Ardwood Theme Park contract were all done by phone and email. Things were progressing smoothly, just waiting for Bernard to find time to return to the country and sign.

On this day, Bernard returned to the country. An appointment was set, and Aveline went to The Croft Tower on be- half of her studio to sign the contract.
