Chapter 186 Three Whole Days
Kaia had never experienced this kind of relentless, overwhelming desire before.
Her voice trembled, soft and tearful. “Lucien…”
“I’m sorry, baby. Just give it a minute. It won’t hurt soon.”
“You asshole!” she cried, squirming in his arms. Lucien’s forehead tensed, veins standing out.

She thought the alcohol would’ve knocked this right out of him.
An entire hour passed. Kaia’s voice had grown hoarse from sobbing. Her spine trembled, and a tingling numbness spread through her body. Just before everything blurred into light, a stillness finally settled over her.

During those three days, her body felt like it had been run over by a truck. Only then did Kaia finally remember what Jason had said,
She burst into tears. “Lucien, you jerk!”
Lucien leaned in and pressed a kiss to her damp cheek, completely unfazed.

“Yes, baby, that’s exactly who I am. You married a damn superhuman.” He paused, voice dropping a notch. “Now, one more round, and then I’ll run you a bath and let you sleep.”
Three days later, Kaia knew one thing for sure–Lucien Graves was a grade–A asshole!
She barely left the bed during those three days. Her back no longer even felt like it belonged to her. It wasn’t until the house staff returned that the rhythm of daily life finally resumed.
“Lucien, before they come back, go clean everything up yourself. Otherwise, don’t even think about touching me again.”
She kicked him straight off the bed. The once aloof, untouchable Lucien‘ had finally fallen from his pedestal.
Still raspy from indulgence, Lucien leaned in with a smirk.
“Then, honey, if I clean up the bathroom, the floor–to–ceiling windows, behind the couch, and the dining table… can you come clean me up?”
Every place he mentioned was somewhere they’d hooked up during their hot and heavy sessions.
Kaia’s face flushed with shame and fury.
The door slammed with a loud bang behind her,

When Jason returned, he found the villa spotless, identical to how they had left it before the break.
Except for one thing. Kaia’s gaze toward Lucien was… different.
“You look like you’ve lost weight,” Lucien said, his tone soft as he watched her nibble at her breakfast. “Eat a little more before we
leave.”
She just glared back, eyes blazing.
Of course she’d lost weight. He’d kept her up all night, every night, leaving her completely exhausted.
Lucien’s smile widened slightly. “Starving? Want some salami?”
Kaia shot him another death glare and flung the slice of bacon he offered right back onto his plate.
“I’m full. Not eating.”
Jason nearly jumped.
What the hell happened in three days? Why did Kaia seem like a whole new person?
Lucien casually pulled her into his lap and wrapped his arms around her waist, coaxing her gently. “Don’t be mad. No bacon, fine. But how about something else, huh?”

He took his time feeding her, one bite at a time, as if nothing in the world could rush him.
Jason stood by in silence.
So this is what I came back to? A full–blown lovefest?
“Mr. Graves, the gift is ready. When would you and Mrs. Graves like to head out to visit her family?”
Kaia stiffened slightly.
A gift? For my family?
She hadn’t planned on doing this. Bringing gifts over would be nothing more than pandering to Tobias.
And she had no interest in playing nice with him.
“We’ll leave in half an hour. /Have Chris load the gifts into the
car.”
Kaia turned, confused. “When did I say we were going to visit anyone today?”
Lucien smiled, “It’s been three days. Think of it as a little trip to get some fresh air. Let’s go see your family.”
She didn’t argue. She simply stayed quiet.

But when the car pulled up in front of her old apartment building, her expression finally softened.
“You could’ve just told me we were coming here.”

Lucien’s grin was faint. “If I told you, it wouldn’t have been a surprise.”
When they got upstairs and Kaia unlocked the door with her fingerprint, she immediately saw Kayla and Alyssa waiting inside. That was the surprise.
“Kaia, congratulations!” Kayla greeted her with a bright smile.
Kaia stood stunned in the doorway. “You look like you weren’t expecting us,” Alyssa teased. “Of course we came to celebrate your beautiful marriage!”
She puffed up proudly. “And even if you’re technically my aunt–in–law now, I’m still taking your side if you two ever fight!”
Kaia’s nose tingled. “Thank you… both of you.”
Alyssa gave her a playful wink. “Uncle Lucien didn’t just bring us over–he sweetened the deal too.”
As if on cue, the driver entered behind them, carrying bags upon bags into the apartment. Kaia finally saw what was inside- brand–new luxury handbags and the latest jewelry collections.

So Lucien had planned this too?

For a moment, she forgot all about how he’d left her sore and bedridden for three days. A flicker of emotion stirred in her chest.
Kayla, however, looked visibly embarrassed. Just being Kaia’s bridesmaid had already come with a lavish gift from Lucien. Now, this? She didn’t feel like she had done anything to deserve it.
“Alyssa, you can have all of it,” Kayla said, pushing the bags toward her.
Kaia laughed. “Oh, come on. Split them. It’s not like he’s hurting.”
“Wow, Kaia,” Alyssa chimed in with a grin. “Sounds like someone’s already holding the purse strings.”
Lucien didn’t say a word. He simply let them laugh and joke as they pleased.

Meanwhile, at the Domont Villa, Tobias sat with a darkened expression. “She still hasn’t answered?” he asked stiffly.
Sue nodded hesitantly. “Maybe Ms. Domont’s still asleep, Mr. Tobias Domont.”

“It’s the middle of the damn day! She knew she was supposed to visit with Lucien today. Sleeping through something like this? She’s completely lost her sense of duty!”
The little bird he once kept locked in a cage had grown wings and flown far beyond his grasp. And it infuriated him.
Still, no matter how angry he was, there wasn’t a thing he could do about it.
He needed her now.

Lucien glanced down at his phone. Tobias‘ name flashed on the screen: “Your dad’s calling. Should I answer?”
Kaia leaned over to look. “Just hang up. Don’t bother answering his calls anymore.”
Lucien had known their relationship was strained, but he hadn’t realized it was this bad.
Still, he had more important things to deal with than Tobias right now. He had something far more urgent to take care of,
