"Jonah…" Tyson's brow knit tight, his voice icy. "He's Elvis's cousin?"

Celia's tone turned sing-song and strange. "Yep. And he's not just anybody—he's The Prodigy Painter. Word is, he's putting everything on the line for this exhibition. The art world, here and abroad, is watching him. But get this: for the show's promo poster, he chose to paint Miss Thorne's profile. Didn't see that coming, did you?"

Tyson said nothing, his eyes glued to his phone screen, knuckles white.

When did Winona meet Jonah? What exactly was their connection?

She'd never mentioned him before. Not once.

"Ty, what if Miss Thorne left Seastone City all of a sudden just to see Jonah in the capital?" Celia's voice rose, excitement fluttering. "If that's true, maybe it's not Elvis she's close to, but this ‘Prodigy Painter'!"

"Enough," Tyson snapped, his voice cold as steel. "Don't start making things up."

Celia's lips twisted into a pout. "I'm not making anything up! The facts are right in front of us. If Miss Thorne and Jonah have nothing going on, why would he put her face on the most important poster of his entire show?"

Tyson yanked at his tie, clearly agitated.

"Ty! After everything that's happened, you're still hung up on Winona?"

"Celia," Tyson's warning echoed in the room. "I've told you before—Nona is my wife. Yes, I'm furious about how she acted this time, but I know how she feels about me. She could never really leave me. Not for good."
