Breaking Mr. Cold (Giselle and Donovan) novel Chapter 116

Giselle looked through the windshield. The driver of the other car was a man, Gideon Grayson, probably not even 30, tall and well-built. At a glance, he was striking. He was indeed an undeniably handsome guy.

He had a cigarette between his lips and strolled slowly to the back of his car to inspect the damage.

Having been rear-ended out of spite, Gideon clearly wasn't in a good mood. He finished smoking what remained of his cigarette, puffing lazily, and glanced with obvious disdain at Giselle's modest BMW Series 3.

He didn't even bother looking at the person in the driver's seat. With a smug expression, he flicked the cigarette butt onto her window, then turned aside to make a call on his phone. Whether he was calling the police or someone else, Giselle couldn't tell.

At the same time, the passenger door opened and Ansel Carrow stepped out. He looked like a friend or maybe a business associate. After checking the rear bumper, he walked over and banged on Giselle's window, shouting, "Get out!"

Giselle already knew she'd have to deal with these two. She was in a major intersection, surrounded by traffic, pedestrians, and cameras, with cars piling up behind her. Trapped, she figured she might as well just deal with it.

She shoved open the door and got out.

She had just straightened up when Ansel, who had knocked on her window, stared at her for a few stunned seconds. Then he stepped back and tapped Gideon, who was on the phone, grinning sleazily as he said, "Hey, Mr. Grayson. Check it out. She's a total knockout."

Gideon had just ended his call and turned around, his gaze locking onto Giselle's face. His eyes flickered.

Without even a hint of subtlety, he scanned her from head to toe, pausing deliberately at her chest. The irritation on his face slowly shifted into something darker, edged with amusement.
