Breaking Mr. Cold (Giselle and Donovan) novel Chapter 117

Gideon gave a cold laugh at Giselle's naive remark.

He then pulled a cigarette box from his pocket, took out a cigarette, and placed it between his lips. He offered her a lighter with a mocking smile.

"How about this, Ms. Driver? If you're willing to bow your head and light my cigarette as an apology, I'll let it go. I won't report you for reckless driving, and I won't make you pay for the repairs. Pretty generous, don't you think?"

Faced with such blatant provocation, Giselle turned her head in disgust. Her tone was cold and sharp. "Try me, and I'll light your hair on fire instead."

"Tsk." His brows arched as he leaned in, deliberately provoking her further. "Such a temper. Bigger than your chest."

At that, Giselle's expression darkened.

Under normal circumstances, she would have calmly and cleanly dealt with this kind of creep using pepper spray. But she had left in a rush today and brought nothing with her. Besides, they were in the middle of a traffic jam on a street. With cars packed all around and surveillance cameras everywhere, she didn't want to cause an ugly scene with a complete stranger.

She forced herself to stay patient. "Sir, we're dealing with a traffic accident here, but your words and behavior already constitute sexual harassment. There are cameras all over this street. You might want to rein it in.

"One last question. How much for the repairs? I'll transfer it to you now. No need to waste time getting a quote."

All she wanted was to leave. Even if this man tried to squeeze an extra 50 grand out of her, she could still stomach it.

He didn't respond to the question about compensation. Instead, he looked her over again with that same shameless smirk and muttered, "What a stubborn little mouth."
