And frankly, it gave me one more excuse to avoid running into Kirby every day at Bloodrock Estate.

I decided to personally oversee the project.

The three parties involved had already agreed to continue negotiations at Apex Industries‘ facilities.

Finalizing the details would take time and research, and Adler had also requested a chance to tour Apex’s world–class R&D department.

For the afternoon prep meeting, I arrived early.

This time, I brought along a new project assistant–Cameron.
