“What happened with you?” Kyle approached Jasmine, who was vomiting under the tree. He massaged her neck gently. “Are you, okay? You look so pale.”

Kyle was the twin warrior from Bloody Wolf pack, he and his twin brother had known Jasmine since they were little and they were extremely loyal to her.

“What?” Jasmine was surprised when she heard that. “What do you mean?”

Suddenly, Elena was smiling brightly. She chirped. “You are pregnant! I am sure you are pregnant!” She said happily like a little child.

“Heaven! I am going to have a grandchild!” Elena was beaming.

A smile grazed Jasmine’s lips when she imagined herself to be pregnant. The baby. The little bundle of joy in this dire situation. It would be hard, but it would be worth it.

“How… how do you know… that I am pregnant?” Jasmine was elated, but she didn’t want to get ahead of herself. She didn’t want to be disappointed, especially if Killian was about to learn this happy news.

“Of course, I know. I have given birth to two children! The symptom is there.” Elena kissed both Jasmine’s cheeks. “Even your scent is slightly changing now. I am sure of it.”

Jasmine smiled even wider when she heard the confidence in Elena’s voice, but then a realization hit her and her happiness came crashing down.

“Killian will be happy to hear this!” Elena grinned. “We need to find a healer to figure out how far long you are.”

Jasmine internally shook her head. This baby was not Killian’s. This was not his, and to her horror, Jasmine was sure about that because she even couldn’t remember when the last time, she did it with Killian.

Horror was written all over her face, as she breathed raggedly. This was impossible. This couldn’t happen.

She had gone through enough, but conceiving Gerald’s child would be the last thing in her mind. She would rather die than to be with him. She didn’t want it!

“Are you, okay?” Elena looked worried when Jasmine’s body started trembling. “Come, let’s eat something. You need to take care of your body and your child.”

“I- I will go later.” Jasmine immediately get away from Elena, because she couldn’t take the expectant look on her face, as she was thinking Jasmine was being pregnant with Killian’s.

Jasmine ran as far away as she could from the hut, and then vomited when she stopped. She couldn’t breathe.
