The royal warriors were hot on their heels, as they hunted them one by one and killed them on the spot.

Meanwhile, the remaining warriors under Killian’s command tried to fight back, as they fled the area. They knew where to meet when they were safe, since they had discussed if this situation happened.

However, during the pursuit, Adrian fell from the cliff, since it started raining and it was very slippery.

Her dear younger brother hit his head, and his healing ability couldn’t keep up with the damage that was done on his small body. His young age didn’t help either, since his healing ability had not yet fully developed.

“We need to take him to the healer, we need to find someone to heal him… please,” Jasmine begged Killian, but he didn’t say anything.

Elena was hugging her now. “He is gone now, he is gone. You need to let go. We need to leave.”

“No! How can I leave him alone here?! I don’t want to leave him alone here, he is my brother. He is my only family!”

Jasmine didn’t know what else she said between her sobs, because she couldn’t think straight. She wanted to stay here with her brother forever. She was tired, she didn’t want to run or fight anymore.

“What are you doing?!” Elena was panic to see Jasmine’s body went limp. “You strangle her! You can kill her!”

“It’s okay, Mom. She only lost her consciousness. She will be fine.” Killian carried Jasmine’s unconscious body. “Let’s move now.”

Killian glanced at Adrian’s body. He felt bad for the young boy. He thought of him as his younger brother, and he was always a joy to be around.

But, at time like this, Killian realized, his affection for him was not that deep. He could leave his dead body out in the open without feeling any sense of guilty.

“Move now,” Killian said to Gerald and his mother.

Rania would never see the war room the same anymore from now on. The thing that Maximus had done to her was simply very embarrassing.

She had never been so glad that she lost her voice, because if she had it, she would have screamed his name and made the whole palace aware of what they were doing.

“Why are you blushing?” Karin blinked her eyes in confusion. “Are you sick?” She gently felt Rania’s forehead, which was slightly warm. “Should I make a concoction for you?”

Rania’s body temperature was not alarming, but yes she was slightly hot than normal.

Rania immediately shook her head. ‘I am fine;‘ she mouthed.

The thing with Maximus happened three hours ago, and right now he continued his meeting about the war again with the other people.

Rania had insisted to open the war room window. All of the windows, because she couldn’t stand the thought that other people would learn what happened between them two.

Even though it was not wrong, since it was normal between two mates, but still, Rania dreaded the thought that they could smell their after–love making during the war.

Rania came here to get her concoction. She could feel the bitterness of the concoction, even though she was still unable to feel anything else.
