EL 20 vouchers.
There was a huge different between lying next to Caden, and slept next to the king. With the former, Rania could only feel contempt,, and a deep disgust. Even breathing the same air felt very dirty for her.

However, she couldn’t say the same thing with the latter. She didn’t have a deep seethed of disgust, but fear settled down comfortably along with her longing, because of the mate bond between them.
She was scared of him because of the reputation that he built, but at the same time she longed for him, because he was her mate, yet, what Caden did to her create a deep scar, trauma, where she didn’t think she could handle of being touched even by him.
Rania looked around her, this was her room, but the fact that the king was sleeping in her bed, it meant he had the key to access her bedroom, since she remembered she had locked the door before she fell asleep.
Afraid to wake up the king, Rania tried to get out of the bed gingerly, but once she made a move, the king grabbed her by the shoulder and pulled her down, within a blurry second, he was already hovering above her.
Rania could feel the panic that clogged her throat when she felt the weight of the king’s body on top of hers. She felt trapped. She was being trapped, and this was one of the feelings that she dreaded the most.
Once she was in this state, she found herself was having a hard time to breath. Her whole body responded by being numb. Lying down like a wooden log, without her being able to even lift a finger.
It was like she suddenly lost control over her body.
With Caden, he was going to mock her, as he started to do whatever he wanted with her body without any retaliation. He liked it when Rania fought him, but he liked it too when she was being obedient.
Either way, he was going to get his way with her.
However, it was not Caden, it was the king, and he didn’t start with a mocking. Calling her a useless bitch, or little whore.
Yet, the way he gazed at her was very intense, Rania thought he was going to create a hole on her face. She looked at anywhere, but at him, which angered the king.
“Why you don’t want looking at me?” Maximus grabbed her chin and lifted her head slightly, but his body pressed down against hers, where he positioned himself between her legs. This made Rania wanted to cry. “Why do you always have this look on your face? Am I that disgusting in your eyes?”
It took everything in Rania to shake her head, and deny the accusation, but she couldn’t speak. She was barely able to breathe. Her mind told her to go to that imaginary swing in her head, a safe place in her mind.
Yet, she couldn’t do that, the king demanded her full attention, and she couldn’t disobey him. There was something feral and commanding in the way he spoke.
“Answer me!” Maximus wrapped his hand around her neck, he wanted to strangle her, scare the shit out of her, so she would speak.
He grew up by learning that fear would give you everything that you wanted, including an answer to question. And this was the only way Maximus knew how to handle someone, and get what he wanted.
“You don’t want to answer me?” Maximus didn’t really put pressure on her neck, he only wrapped his fingers around it.
However, Rania was starting to hyperventilating, where caused her whole body was shaking. She kept shaking her head, her mouth was slightly opened, but there was no voice that came out.
Maximus narrowed his eyes dangerously when he saw her strong reaction, and a second later, he withdrew. He even moved away her body, as he sat down on the heel of his feet, still kneeling before her,
“You don’t like my touch that much, huh?” Maximus then got out of the bed.
