Delete My Love for You novel Chapter 272

“All right, then.”

Darren hung up and pulled away from the corporate building, heading straight for the preschool.

When he arrived, a white Ferrari was already parked out front.

Leaning against the hood was Bradley, who gave Darren a slight nod. “Mr. Harrington. Long time no see.”

Darren’s expression was more relaxed than ever. “Looks like business at N-LINK hasn’t been great lately, if you’ve been able to stay in Heston this long.”

Bradley offered a faint, knowing smile. “I’m waiting for Lotty’s experiments to wrap up before I head back.”

He paused, then added casually, almost as an afterthought, “You know, when Lotty was living abroad, she’d call me every single day to ask about Ryan. And of course… she’d always wish me goodnight before bed.”

That last bit struck Darren like a punch to the chest, his discomfort swelling. “So that’s why you’re so determined for custody of Ryan? Hoping you can use your son to tie her to you?”

Bradley didn’t miss a beat, twisting the knife with a cool smile. “If my son can make her stay, well, that’s his talent.”

The words made Darren’s face tighten, as if he’d been choked. Maybe once he would have fought back, but now… there didn’t seem to be any point.

If Bradley could truly let go of his resentment toward the Harringtons and devote himself to Charlotte, then Darren supposed he ought to be grateful, even wish them well.

Just then, school let out.

Ryan ran out and immediately reached for Bradley’s hand. “Dad!”

Catching sight of Darren nearby, he greeted him politely, “Hello, Mr. Harrington.”

Darren mustered a nod, lifting his hand in a small wave as he watched father and son walk away together.

Moments later, Noah emerged. He came straight to Darren, his wide eyes bright. “Dad.”

“Hey, buddy.”

Darren ruffled his son’s hair, then noticed a fresh scrape on Noah’s arm.

“What happened here?”

Noah shrank back, voice barely above a whisper. “I—I tripped and fell.”
