Fake Heiress Real Trouble (Sienna) novel Chapter 10

Chapter 10

Sienna had said this before. Whenever Windsor stayed up all night, buried in his papers or research, she would quietly stand behind him, holding a pot of nourishing stew she had spent six hours making.

In a soft, pleading voice, she would say, “Windsor, if you need help with anything, just ask me. I can help you.”

You’re just some country girl-what do you know? Don’t bother me.” Windsor had shoved her off impatiently back then.

The nourishing stew she had put so much care into crashed to the floor, the rich aroma filling the room.

Sienna’s eyes reddened as she crouched down to clean up the mess, whispering timidly, “No… Windsor, I really do understand. I really can help you.”

He hadn’t felt the slightest bit of guilt at the time. Instead, he had thought she had made a mess of his room and disturbed his work.

Pointing at her in anger, he had snapped, “Just because you know a few herbs and can cook some nourishing stew, you think you understand medicine, huh? Get out. Stop wasting my time.”

In that instant, Windsor’s talent-the pride he had always clung to-was crushed by Sienna’s words.

She didn’t even spare him another glance. Without hesitation, she left with Eden, walking away with unshakable confidence and poise.

The elevator carried them down to the first floor. When Sienna stepped out, she happened to see five people entering the opposite elevator.

She lifted her gaze slightly-and locked eyes with the man at the front.

He stood tall and composed with one hand casually tucked in his pocket; his whole presence was effortlessly cool and

relaxed.

His black silk shirt hung loosely, the top two buttons undone, revealing a smooth, well-shaped collarbone, which made his cold, restrained face seem all the more stunningly handsome.

It was the most handsome face she had ever seen.

The elevator doors slid shut, ending their eye contact.

Sienna didn’t linger on the moment. She shoved her hands in her pockets and strode out of the hospital with the swagger of someone completely in charge.

“Mason, what’s this? Have you taken a liking to that girl?” Miles Hancock leaned close to Mason Brown, squinting at his expression. “She’s gorgeous, I’ll give you that. Honestly, I’ve never seen anyone that beautiful in my life. I just wonder if she’s
