“Engagement?” Sienna raised an eyebrow, a sarcastic smile playing at her lips. “That was nothing but the garbage you guys forced on me back when I was with the Fairbank family.

“Going too far?” Sienna chuckled and said, “Miss Fairbank, the Light the Lamp Challenge was Ernest’s idea. He agreed to the terms himself, and both parties agreed to the additional conditions. I didn’t force any of it.”

Sienna’s gaze was lazy and full of mockery as she glanced at Ernest. “Mr. Grant, you can either pay up 30 million dollars, or compensate me with a motorcycle equal in value to the Ghost. I only give you three days.”

Ernest’s face went deathly pale, the veins at his forehead pulsing so hard as if his head might just burst. He pressed his glabella hard, eyes gloomy as he glared at Sienna coldly, and gritted his teeth with disbelief. “Sienna, are you seriously making such a scene against me?” he asked.

“Making a scene?” Sienna asked. The corner of Sienna’s upturned eyes curved with mockery. She arched a brow and shot Ernest a sidelong glance.”Mr. Grant, before you say that… Perhaps you should first ask yourself, are you even worthy?

“Since you lost, paying up according to the rules is only proper. It’s simply honoring the terms of the contract,” Sienna said, raising an eyebrow. “Or is it that… Mr. Grant really can’t take the heat?”

Ernest’s cold eyes were like ice as he stared fixedly at Sienna’s stunning, frosty face. The girl before him was clearly familiar, yet felt like a stranger.

The way she looked at him now held none of the obsession or humble eagerness in the past, and none of that deep, devoted affection as if her whole world only revolved around him. What remained was only cold indifference and mockery.

The Sienna back then was timid and submissive, following at his side like a complete simp, a total doormat. But Sienna, standing before him now, carried herself with poise and hauteur – nothing like the girl he remembered.

His fingers clenched tightly, eyes frozen with an icy chill. Grinding his teeth, he spat out each word through gritted jaws, “Great, Sienna! You’d better not regret this!”

“I don’t know whether I’ll regret it or not, but…” Sienna chuckled lightly and said, her sharp eyes lifting with a hint of disdain. “Mr. Grant’s expression right now sure looks like you’re the one who’s regretting.”

Ernest’s deep, heavy gaze fixed on the look on Sienna’s face – that detached, mocking expression, as if she were watching a circus act. The indifference and ridicule in her eyes only made his humiliation burn deeper. His face hardened with icy coldness, and he turned and walked away.

He had barely taken two steps when a young man came striding toward him, sporting a striking, flashy hair color and dressed head to toe in a fluorescent green leather jacket and pants. Hands in his pockets, he walked with the swagger of someone who feared no one.

Behind him followed a group of Phantom Bay’s bodyguards, a formidable entourage radiating an overwhelming aura.

“Well, well, Mr. Grant, where are you going?” Alvin asked. A roguish grin tugged at the corners of his

handsome face as he walked up to Ernest. When he reached him, he casually slung an arm around Ernest’s shoulder.

“The Light the Lamp Challenge is still on; losers have to fulfill every part of the agreement before they can leave. That’s the rule,” he said.

As he spoke, he patted Ernest’s shoulder. “Mr. Grant, you want to leave? Sure. Just head to the track, bow your head to the ground with every step until you’ve crawled the whole way through, and then get our Phantom Bay’s signature tattoo. Do that, and I’ll personally have someone escort you home.”

He was clearly still a somewhat boyish young man, the corners of his mouth curved in that unmistakably roguish grin — he didn’t look the least bit like a serious person.

Yet somehow, the cold, commanding aura he exuded made even Ernest, the proud heir of the Grant family and a man long accustomed to the business world, feel a chill of dread deep in his chest.

“Mr. Fuller, I, Ernest Grant, won’t break my promises!” Ernest ground out every word between clenched teeth.

Alvin smiled, his eyes curving with amusement, and said, “Mr. Grant makes things easy for everyone.” As he spoke, he turned his head slightly toward the bodyguards behind him. “Bring out the debt contract. Let Mr. Grant sign it.”

“Debt contract?” Ernest’s expression changed when he asked.

Alvin pulled out a document and handed it over with a cheerful grin. “Yes, Mr. Grant. It’s just to prevent you from trying to weasel out of it once you leave Phantyom Bay. We have to do things properly.”

He tapped the document and pen against Ernest’s chest and said, “Sign it and leave your fingerprint. Within three days, 30 million dollars should be transferred into Sienna’s account. Otherwise, we’ll calculate it at a daily interest rate of 0.5%.

“Once you’re done signing, you can proceed to the track and honor your bet.”

A flash of shock flickered in Ernest’s eyes as he seized the document one-handed. It hit him straight away-he had seen this before.

He snapped his head up and met Gloria’s gaze from across. She was smirking, playful, and bold, like she had the whole scene under control. ‘Isn’t the scene familiar?

Isn’t this process similar to when Gloria was about to lend me Shadow- a motorcycle worth nearly as much as Chost? The entire process is the same, he thought.

His pupils contracted continuously as he glanced between the alluring Gloria and the aloof, languid Sienna. In that split second, he suddenly understood. “You… Gloria, Sienna. You guys were in this together from the beginning. You guys teamed up to set me up?” he exclaimed.

Gloria fluttered her beautifully made-up eyes, her crimson-polished nails lightly covering her lips as she smiled charmingly and flirtatiously. “Mr. Grant’s reaction isn’t that slow after all. What a pity… It’s too late,” she

said.

Ernest was so furious.”You lunatic! Have you completely lost your mind? You brought out Shadow, worth 30 million dollars, just to play along with her in this ridiculous act?” he said.

“That’s right.” Gloria smiled, her charm practically dripping from every word. “I, Gloria Tillery, have money to burn. I can afford to play. So what?” she responded.
