In the southeast corner of the villa’s courtyard, a heavily armed squad forced its way through the security barrier, slipping inside like shadows.
Black Python watched with satisfaction as his crew exploited a network loophole, knocking out part of the outer electronic fence without triggering any alarms.
He let out a cold, sinister grin, clearly relishing the chaos about to unfold.
Heh… Black Python smirked to himself.
What a bunch of fools these Aurathenians are. They actually believe their fancy security system is unbeatable. My Baletin hackers could crack this junk in their sleep.
‘Once a weakling, always a weakling
They’ll never be real lions. Just a bunch of sheep pretending to be fierce.
‘Doesn’t matter if it’s Dr. C or Hades, they’re both going to end up in my hands.
He checked the hacked data feed and saw his targets, locked right inside this very villa.
His wicked grin grew wider as his mind raced through all the ways he could snag Dr. C and break Hades into pieces.
But just as they set foot onto the lawn, the ground suddenly collapsed beneath them.
High–voltage electric nets sprang up from nowhere.
A few of them never saw it coming- the nets crackled to life, shocking them so bad they jerked and dropped to the ground, twitching like puppets with cut strings.
The stench of scorched skin instantly filled the air.
Agonized screams tore through the courtyard.
In less than ten seconds, almost half of Black Python’s squad was taken out–fried and twitching on the ground.
He watched helplessly as his team got cut in half before he could even blink.
Black Python realized something was terribly wrong, but by then, it was far too late.
Electric nets caged them in from every direction, buzz and sparks lighting up the night.
With no way out, he and his last few loyal men had no choice but to press back–to–back against the courtyard fountain, looking desperate and cornered.

“Damn!” Black Python cursed in his native tongue, eyes wide with fury as he stared at the scorched bodies piling up around him.
He was so overcome with rage he was seconds away from howling at the moon.
A slender, cool and distant figure stood in the moonlight, her shadow stretching long across the ground.
Black Python glanced up and spotted a girl in a white tee and black pants, hands casually stuffed in her pockets, standing on the nearby steps. She looked down at them with a chilling calm, regarding everyone as nothing more than caged prey.
That fierce, commanding vibe–Black Python felt a chill. ‘She’s just like that girl who barged into my lair alone and beat me into the dirt… The two images overlapped in his mind.
Sienna cocked her head to the side, sizing Black Python up like he was just another animal in her sights.
She eyed his utterly pathetic and ruined state, a knowing smirk playing at her lips.
With crisp, mocking Baletin, she called out, “Black Python, I’ve been expecting you for quite some time.”
“Aurathenians are despicable! Shameless!” Black Python spat out in broken Aurathen, his voice thick with
rage.
His eyes burned with hatred as he stared at Sienna. “You’re alive? How the hell are you still alive?”
“Despicable? Shameless?” Sienna scoffed coldly, her smile icy and never touching her eyes. “You tried going after my family just to get at me, and you call me despicable? Shameless? Take a good look in the mirror.”
Sienna flicked her wrist and flung a stack of photos straight at Black Python.
The photos whipped through the air, slicing past with a sharp hiss.
Sienna shot him a cold glare. “You’re not even worthy to come near anyone around me.”
Black Python caught the photos and quickly looked through them.
Each showed a corpse dressed in standard–issue ninja outfits from Baletin.
Their faces were clearly visible.
They were the very assassins he’d dispatched to lurk near the Cooper Manor, intending to kidnap members of the Cooper family and use them as leverage against Sienna.
In the corner of one shot, a masked guy in a shirt stamped with the Ghost Alliance crest was making a cheeky peace sign right at the camera.
Black Python stared at the line of corpses and the masked man’s brazen peace sign, his anger rising as the taunt hit home.
His face turned livid with rage and he hurled the stack of photos to the ground with an angry clatter.

Watching his furious meltdown, Sienna’s crimson lips curled into a taunting smile. “Come on, you really think I wouldn’t have a backup plan, knowing you’ve had your sights set on me?”
Black Python’s face turned almost ashen, his eyes cold and venomous like a snake as he stared Sienna down, jaw clenched so tight you could almost hear his teeth crack.
“Heh… Hades, you really think you’ve got this in the bag?” Black Python taunted, his voice dripping with malice.
His tongue flicked out, quick and snake–like, the crazed look in his eyes screaming he was ready to risk everything.
He slammed his hand down on the device strapped to his wrist.
Suddenly, a cloud of thick smoke erupted from beneath his feet, swallowing everything in sight.
The air was instantly filled with a sharp, acrid stench.
“Black Python, you really are stuck in the loser lane,” Sienna mocked, her voice icy and unbothered as smoke filled the air–she didn’t even flinch or bother to cover her nose. “Dr. C is standing right here. Did you seriously think your poison had a chance against me?”
“Even if it doesn’t, I can still kill you!” Black Python snarled, his voice dripping with malice as he let out a cold, twisted laugh.
Suddenly, a shadow blurred through the smoke, moving like a phantom.
Out of nowhere, a handful of diamond–shaped blades, tinged with that venomous blue shimmer, flashed out -deadly silent, lightning fast–lunging straight for Sienna’s face like fangs on snakes.
Every knife cut in at twisted angles, each attack savage and out for blood.
Sienna clicked her tongue with a smirk. “See? I called you stupid, and you never fail to prove me right.”
Her icy gorgeous face stayed completely unreadable.
Just as the blades slashed towards her neck, she shot her leg out and slammed a hard kick into Black Python’s
wrist.
One of the diamond–shaped blades clattered to the ground.
Black Python let out a muffled grunt, stumbling backwards into the swirling smoke.
‘Smoke’s for hiding, but the second you open your mouth, you give yourself away! Sienna hooked the diamond blade up with her foot and booted it right into the cloud of smoke, totally unfazed.
“Ah!” A scream tore through the fog.
But it wasn’t Black Python who cried out.
Through the mist, Sienna could see Black Python grab one of his henchmen, shoving the poor fool in front

His savage, shadowed face twisted so menacingly that even the swirling smoke could barely hide his murderous glare.
Foaming at the mouth, he roared, “Damn! Damn! Damn!” and threw himself headlong at Sienna like a madman.
He swung that diamond–shaped blade again, bursting out of the smoke and stabbing straight for her—an all- or–nothing, crazed attack with no regard for his own life.
He looked every bit like a cornered beast, ready to go down swinging with nothing left to lose.
The chilling blue gleam of the blade slashed past–Sienna leaned back just in time, barely escaping death by a hair’s breadth.
But in the very next instant, Black Python’s face twisted into a savage grin.
His lips curled into a sinister, toothy smile as he stared her down.
Then, all of a sudden, he spewed a blast of steel needles straight out of his mouth.
