The black Porsche drifted on a razor–sharp turn, narrowly dodging the vicious slash of a blade that crashed through the windshield.
Tires screeched against the pavement.
The rear of the car smashed into the two figures rushing forward, sending them hurtling through the air.
Whoosh!
Suddenly, dozens of crossbow bolts came flying out from the bushes on both sides.
Sienna’s nose twitched.
‘These bolts…‘ Sienna thought.
‘They’re laced with poison!‘ Sienna realized.
Deadly threats poured in, one after another.
She could feel their killer’s intent—they weren’t pulling any punches.
Sienna squinted her long, bright eyes, not even a trace of panic on her face–she stayed cool as ice.
She whipped the steering wheel with another savage spin.
Her foot flicked fast between the gas and brake, working them like a pro.
“Vroom!”
The black Porsche let out a deep, vibrating hum.
The car spun in another 180–degree drift, and several poison–tipped crossbow bolts whizzed past the taillights and side windows, slamming straight into the trunks of the trees nearby.
The fletchings were still shaking like crazy–proof that whoever fired them had some serious strength.
Out here in the silent, isolated countryside.
The moment that 180–degree drift was complete, Sienna floored it.
The Porsche rocketed forward like a loosed arrow, zeroing in on the villa with pinpoint accuracy.
Just then, the villa’s heavy electronic gates cracked open–just a sliver, barely enough for the Porsche to squeeze through.
The Porsche shot straight inside.
With a thunderous bang, the gates slammed shut, sealing off the villa and muffling the wild thuds of countless

attacks crashing from outside.
Every move clicked–effortless teamwork, all perfectly in sync.
The Porsche came to a sharp, controlled stop.
Sienna pushed open the car door, completely unfazed.
But the very next second, she was swept up into a pair of strong arms.
Warm breath washed over the hollow of her neck.
Mason’s deep, magnetic voice trembled just a little. “Sienna…”

Before she knew it, Sienna’s face was pressed against Mason’s firm, warm chest, the crisp cedar scent of him. flooding her nose and senses.
For a split second, she was totally stunned.
She could feel the power in his sculpted hands as his fingers locked tightly around her waist.
And his heart was pounding against her–so hard and fast, she could feel every beat.
Even his breath was shaky, a mix of relief and lingering fear after barely escaping danger.
‘He… he was actually worried about me,’ Sienna realized.
But that hug lasted for barely three seconds–just a fleeting moment, really.
Then Mason released her just as quickly, breaking the embrace before she could even react.
His deep, soulful gaze was a storm of emotion he couldn’t hold back.
He kept his eyes fixed on Sienna’s face, voice tight and a little shaky. “It’s seriously dangerous out there right now. Both groups have got the whole place locked down. You… you can’t leave the villa–it’s a guaranteed ambush.”
Sienna gave her nose a quick rub, ignoring the little buzz from being pressed up against Mason just seconds ago. She nodded, her tone matter–of–fact as she said, “Yeah, it’s all sorted outside, Now we can finally focus on taking care of them.”
Heading indoors, Sienna whipped out her phone and fired off an encrypted command, “Net’s tightening.
Move in.”
Stepping into the control room, Sienna quickly scanned the surveillance feeds on the screens.
At least three hundred people were spread out across the villa’s perimeter and lurking in the shadows of the
woods.
That was just what she could see–three hundred out in plain sight.

She couldn’t shake the thought: there had to be even more hidden, waiting to strike from the darkness.
“Wow, that’s a lot of trouble brewing out there,” Sienna muttered, her eyes narrowing with a sharp glint.
“They’re really bringing in the heavy hitters,” Mason said as he stepped up behind her. His eyes grew somber while he stared at the dense clusters of heat signatures crowding the screens.
“Black Python must’ve already entered Aurathen,” Sienna said as she glanced at her phone. Still nothing from Titan.
‘So that means…‘ Sienna thought.
‘Titan still has no idea Black Python is inside the country.
‘If even the Ghost Alliance’s top–tier tech couldn’t get a trace on him, in all of Aurathen, barely anyone even knows Black Python’s crossed the border. He must’ve used off–grid routes nobody’s even heard of.’
“No intel on my end either… This Black Python guy really knows what he’s doing,” Mason muttered, narrowing his eyes as he searched the screens for any sign of Black Python.
“Good, that’s all I needed,” Sienna said, lips curling into a sly grin. “At least now I don’t have to waste my time waiting for him to show up.”
Mason’s smoldering gaze shifted to Sienna, the dark tide of emotions he’d fought to suppress rolling up inside him all over again.
Seeing the lively excitement blooming across the girl’s face, his chiseled fingers unconsciously tightened, betraying just how much he felt.
Black Python was here.
Once he walked right into their net, she’d be heading back to the Cooper family.
‘Could it be… she really doesn’t feel even the slightest bit reluctant to leave?‘ Mason thought, uncertainty gnawing at him.
Just then, a shrill alarm blared through the control room.
“Warning! Network system under heavy attack!”
“Warning! Firewall pressure increasing!”
“Warning! Firewall is being breached!”
On the massive screen, the once–steady data streams exploded into pure chaos.
Countless lines of code turned into a thick swarm of viruses, all out to slam through the villa’s firewall.
“Well, finally decided to crawl out, huh?” Sienna said, her tone cool and contemptuous.
She pulled out a chair and took her seat at the console. “Typical–rats who can’t nibble through my walls. So

now they bring in a hacker crew, hoping to cripple the security and stroll right in? Real amateur hour.”
Her fingers danced onto the keyboard, lips curving into a mocking grin. “Swinging your axe at the builder’s door? Cute.”
Her fingers flew over the keyboard–she was so fast you could barely see her hands move.
Instantly, those messy lines of code on screen snapped into place, every byte obeying her orders and intercepting the attack like she owned the whole system.
“Tracked the source. Got its coordinates,” Sienna said, her fingers dancing over the keyboard with ridiculous. speed, barely sparing Mason a sidelong glance. “So, do you think you can track it down?”
Mason dropped into the seat next to her. “What do
you think?”
