Chapter 84
The group slunk back to their own area, looking utterly deflated. Their excitement from earlier had completely fizzled out.
No one dared to be the first to break the heavy silence, and the thrill of getting ready to race was long gone.
A man in a black studded leather jacket, with sharp, handsome features, narrowed his eyes slightly, staring at the two figures following behind Alvin as they headed toward the VIP section.
Finally, his gaze settled on Sophie, who was huffing and puffing as she pushed Ghost along, her twin ponytails bouncing.
His eyes flickered with thought.
He slid an arm around the woman in his embrace, quietly moved into the shadows, and pulled out his phone to make a call.

Meanwhile, Sienna and the others reached the VIP viewing section.
Sienna raised a hand, removed the silver-and-black helmet, revealing her exquisitely cold and stunning face.
Her expression was calm, her gaze falling on the racetrack ahead.
This spot was indeed the best vantage point, giving a full view of the entire circuit.
Even the massive screens overhead were completely unobstructed.
Alvin flicked the hair from his brightly dyed fringe with a flourish and tilted his chin proudly at Sienna. “So, Sienna, what do you think? Not bad, huh? I designed this whole place based on the prototype of your old training ground. I improved every part of it just for this!”
Sienna let her eyes sweep over every bend and curve of the racetrack, her long lashes trembling slightly. “It’s very well-built. You’ve fixed every flaw my old training ground had.”
Running a lap here would definitely feel good.
“Sienna…” Alvin seemed to see right through her thoughts, shaking his head of flashy hair as he leaned toward her with a grin. “Want to get on the track for a run? Ghost is already back from the dead. Don’t you think it’s time for Skye to announce her comeback?”
“Skye?” Sophie’s eyes went wide, her little face flushing red as she grabbed Sienna’s hand with both of hers. “Sienna, you… Are you really Skye?”
She, too, was a hardcore motorbike enthusiast, and naturally, a huge fan of Skye.
Ever since Sienna had given her Ghost as a gift, she had, for a brief moment, suspected Sienna could really be the legendary Skye.
Chapter 84
But she’d dismissed the thought, just like Ernest had.
After all, Skye had become famous four years ago, crashing into the international scene with godlike racing skills.
Representing Aurathen, she swept all the racing trophies abroad in one fell swoop, winning over all the racers from those countries who originally looked down on Aurathen racing until they were convinced.
Four years ago, Sienna was at most sixteen years old. She was not old enough to participate in this kind of competition. So, Sophie dismissed this guess.
She figured Sienna was just an incredible doctor who might have once treated Skye. Then, Skye regarded Ghost as the consultation fee and gave it to Sienna.
Sophie had always had this idea and thought so.
But now, she had just heard Alvin call Sienna Skye. Sienna was actually Skye!
“Doesn’t she look like her?” Alvin didn’t bother to hide the truth.
After all, Sienna had made him haul Ghost out in the middle of the night just yesterday, so she could personally tweak and tune it to fit Sophie perfectly.
Now she’d even brought Sophie to his venue, treating her like a little princess.
That meant Sienna clearly had no intention of hiding her identity from this girl.
Sophie’s eyes widened little by little, and she suddenly screamed and hugged Sienna.
She exclaimed, “Sienna! Skye! You really are my goddess, Skye! How can you be this amazing?”
Sienna had already become world-famous before even turning eighteen!
She wondered, ‘Her medical skills are top-tier. Her racing skills are god-tier. Is there anything Sienna isn’t good at?’
Sophie plastered her entire small face against Sienna. “I just want to snuggle with my idol! My dream has come true, my dream has come true!”
Her clinginess was enough to make Alvin’s teeth ache with jealousy. He hated being born a man. He hated not being cute enough. He wanted to cling to Sienna too!
Alvin curled his lips and hummed sourly, “I’m going to go change into my racing suit. Just wait until you see me take first place tonight. Sienna, my victory is going to be my gift to you!”
He wasn’t just a good-looking follower. He was the kind of follower who could bring Sienna glory.
Alvin left to change clothes.
Sophie held Sienna’s hand and spun her around in circles, just like she had done earlier around Ghost. She was practically glowing with excitement.
“Sienna, aren’t you going to race?” Sophie’s eyes sparkled. “If you got on that track, I swear the entire racing scene would lose their minds tonight!”
Sienna let Sophie tug at her hand, her eyelids lowering slightly as her gaze drifted toward the track,
Racing felt so far away to her now.
Back when the Fairbank family had brought her back from the countryside, she had considered her identity, her past. She had known that all of it might endanger the people she loved.
And so, she had decisively cut ties with her past life and returned to the Fairbank family, disguised as a simple country bumpkin. It was a place she had once thought of as her “home.”
