puchers
“Sienna, did you see that last cornering move I pulled off? Admit it, I had a bit of your old–school flair, didn’t. I” Alvin dashed up to Sienna, face full of excitement, practically wagging his tail like a puppy hoping for praise.
With a composed look, Sienna precisely pointed out every risk and mistake Alvin ran into out there on the track, breaking it all down with professional case.
She then shared a few methods and techniques for handling situations like those in the future.
After she finished, Sophie clasped her hands together, eyes shining with adoration at Sienna. “Sienna, even though you didn’t race, I think you’re actually way more handsome than Alvin!”
Alvin’s eyes widened. “Hey, Sophie! That hurts! You still want your winner’s prize, right?”
Deep down, Alvin had to admit he couldn’t quite compete with Sienna in terms of sheer style.
But come on, no guy would willingly admit he wasn’t the handsomest guy around.
If a guy were still breathing, he would have gotta stay confident.
Sophie just shrugged, totally unfazed. “Whatever, I already got Ghost from Sienna!”
Alvin’s face fell. “So all that hard work I put into winning this race… what was it even for?”
Sophie tapped her chin, grinning. “I guess it means… you’re super cool?”
Alvin pouted.
Of course he knew he was awesome.
Suddenly, a lightbulb flickered in Alvin’s eyes. He leaned close to Sienna, all grins. “Sienna, since you gave Ghost to Sophie, now you’re kinda out of wheels, aren’t you? How about I give you my prize–the very trophy that marks me the king of the track this month?”
Sienna reached out and pushed his rainbow–colored head away. “You think I need a car?”
Then Alvin remembered that Sienna was a Cooper now.
He instantly went quiet.
Now Sienna belonged to the Cooper family, the wealthiest clan in all of Orlathis City.
Their family garage held hundreds, maybe even thousands, of luxury cars. Sienna could take her pick anytime she felt like it–no shortage of options for her.
Alvin’s face fell even further. He stared with big, wounded eyes and let out a dramatic howl. “Seriously? How am I supposed to compete with you rich people? Give a poor guy a break here!”

Chapter 89
If Jessica ever found out that the five–million–dollar luxury sports car she’d been dying for was being tossed around between these three like it was nothing, she’d probably go crazy on the spot.
Even though none of them actually wanted the car, Alvin was still riding high. He grabbed Sienna and Sophie, dragging them off to the pit area to claim the prize.
After all, it was a legendary ride once owned by an international champion.
Just to show off, it’d still be drop–dead cool sitting in the garage.
And hey, since Sienna and Sophie didn’t want it, he figured he might as well let it take center stage in his garage as an epic trophy.
Even though Alvin owned the biggest share at Phantom Bay, there was no skipping the usual prize–giving routine.
Alvin tagged along with the manager to handle the prize process.
They ended up over in the motorcycle lot.
Ghost was parked right there.
Sophie’s big, bright eyes scanned the area before she latched onto Sienna’s arm and clung, her voice going all sugary sweet. “Sienna, pretty please? Can I try out those racing tricks you just told Alvin about?”
Sienna half–squinted at her, a hint of amusement in those cool, clear eyes.
Sophie shrank her neck and mumbled in a soft, almost babyish voice, “But you’ll be right here with me… I pinky swear I won’t go wild. I just wanna show you how I do that cornering thing you taught Alvin, right in front of you!”
The more she pleaded, the more her tone turned irresistibly pitiful and cute.
She blinked up at Sienna with wide, starry eyes, desperately hoping Sienna would say yes.
Sienna coolly replied, “Go ahead, but just once.”
Sophie’s eyes lit up. She shook Sienna’s hand, cheering, “Sienna, you’re the absolute best!”
Sophie called out, then grabbed Sienna and raced off toward Ghost’s parking spot.
She didn’t notice.
In another corner of the pit area, two figures stood.
Mason narrowed his deep, inky eyes, watching the two slim figures walk away. His expression was so cold and untouchable, you’d swear he was some kind of beautiful demon–completely unreadable.
Beside him, Miles clicked his tongue. “Mason, looks like Miss Cooper just can’t resist that sweet act! One pitiful look from Sophie and she’d hand over her entire soul. Seriously, only a cutie like her could ever crack the armor of a boss lady.”

Chapter 89
As he kept talking. Miles suddenly noticed the air around them getting weirdly chill.
The cold made him swallow hard. Carefully, he shifted his gaze toward Mason.
And got hit with a pair of icy eyes, glittering like shattered snow.
Miles shivered. “Mason, that’s your own sister! Now that’s some hardcore jealousy, man–you’re straight up ignoring family at this point.
Mason coolly shot him a glance, stuffed one hand in his pocket, and strode after them.
Miles looked at Mason, then at the girls up ahead, and couldn’t help saying, “Mason, don’t you think we’re kinda like those pervy stalkers right now?”
Once Mason knew where Alvin was, he’d made a beeline over here.
But he just wouldn’t show his face.
He just kept following them around like a total stalker.
And he had the nerve to claim he was only keeping an eye on Sophie because of her heart condition–like this whole scene was way too risky for her.
But honestly, it was crystal clear who he was really focused on.
It was Sienna.
Miles grinned, “Mason, since you like Miss Cooper, why not copy Sophie? She’s clearly into the sweet, cutesy type–you should try out the puppy act. I swear, you’d have her falling for you hook, line, and sinker!”
Mason shot him a lazy, sideways glance.
He didn’t say a word.
Miles immediately zipped his lips shut.
Honestly, he was just giving some real, straightforward advice here.
If he wanted to chase a girl, he had to figure out what she liked and play along.
Seriously, this stalker–ish stuff? That was just not the way to win her over..
Mason usually got all the brains, but right now, he was totally clueless.
If he wouldn’t listen to the resident love guru here, he would be kicking himself for sure.
Meanwhile, Sienna and Sophie had already made it to Ghost’s parking spot.
