The most surprising case was Freya.

He opened them all and hauled away whatever supplies he found.

By sticking with him for a few days, Freya even managed to put on some weight.

They hauled him away, and Freya secured a ticket out by claiming she was his family.

As she boarded, she turned back toward the building, especially the 66th floor, looking smug. She could still hear Kay’s voice telling her she had no self–respect.

But what good had her resistance done? Kay’s face was ruined, and she was stuck behind and suffered with the rest.

Thinking of the 66th–floor residents, Freya couldn’t help but laugh. Did they truly think they were superheroes? The government had sent boats, and they didn’t even bothered to go.

With that self–satisfied attitude, Freya “luckily” secured a spot on the rescue boat.

What she didn’t know was what awaited her–cramped rooms packed with dozens of people, filth everywhere, constant fights, and worse drama than before.

The shelters had been thrown together in a hurry, using a few villas on the hill, way too small for the crowd.

When Richard found out Wayne had killed his mother, he grabbed a knife and stormed after him.
