Girl's Doomsday Rebirth Revenge & Survive novel Chapter 12

Chapter 12 Those Old Memories

Any place that looked good or caught her eye, she’d grab 30 cups from each!

Lemonade shake, pineapple creamshake, berry cheesecake shake, strawberry blossom, minty green frost

The list went on and on.

The milkshake shop right in front of her? No way she could skip it.

Caroline picked 40 cups in all sorts of flavors, paid for them, and carried the pile off down the street.

When she found a quiet spot, she stored all the drinks in her storage space!

Just thinking about adding more milkshakes to her shopping list for tomorrow made her really happy.

Raven didn’t like sweets much, and Caroline didn’t dare let him eat random stuff.

So they finished their walk and went home.

Caroline held a giant cup of milkshake in one hand and Raven’s leash in the other, feeling incredibly happy.

That night, she practiced her knife skills again and also did punches and kicks to build up her strength

At the same time, she started packing up her stuff. She planned to pack everything in the house.

Her old house was already sold, and the agent had agreed to give her five days to move out.

For the new place, Caroline had already found a good renovation company. She wanted to strengthen the glass and floors, insulate the walls, and put in two stoves.

The kind that burned wood and coal.

When the stoves were running, the whole house would be warm.

Her bed would be right next to one of them.

At first, she thought about making a heated floor bed like people use up north, but realized it would keep her stuck in one

spol

Maybe she could do that later if there was time.

The most important things were the doors and windows!

When the apocalypse began, extreme weather would be a problem, sure.

But the real danger was other people who might try to hurt her.

Strong doors and windows were a must.

For the glass, she chose bulletproof glass.

All the windows would have reinforced bars on the outside,

For the door, she picked the strongest doublelayer style.

The outer door was a huge steel gate, 1.5 inches thick.

She hadn’t decided on the inner door yet, but planned to look at it in the next few days.

That night, she packed up the few things she still had.

Sitting in the middle of a pile of boxes, Caroline looked around her old house and felt a little sad

Chapter 12 Those Old Memories

This was the home her parents had left her.

If it weren’t for the fact that it wasn’t practical for surviving the apocalypse, she wouldn’t want to leave.

Most of the stuff she was packing was just little items that wouldn’t help in the apocalypse.

Like her old elementary school diary.

Big bow hair clips.

Photo albums that her parents had left her.

Yearbooks with classmatesmessages from graduation.

None of them could be eaten or used to survive.

But to Caroline, they were her life and

memories.

In her previous life, she hadn’t had a chance to take these little treasures and had to leave them behind in this house. She had to abandon the house and everything in it.

The only thing she managed to grab was a family photo.

Now, having time to go through her things made her feel really happy.

She took a deep breath and put all the packed items into the small house inside her storage space.
