Caroline looked down and saw light yellow paw prints all over the floor.
Snow was gone in a flash.
“Tyler, when did you get yourself such a … filthy dog?” Denton clicked his tongue.
Silver stood on his shoulder and squawked twice in disgust.
Raven had already dashed out to catch the little troublemaker.
For a moment, the 66th floor was full of chaos.
“Pfft!”
Caroline couldn’t help but laugh when she saw Tyler’s grim face.
Raven soon came back, holding Snow by the back of her neck.
The little thing didn’t look too happy about it–her paws kept kicking in the air, struggling wildly.
Raven dropped her beside Tyler and gave him a dead–eyed look. Your dog, your problem.
Caroline took the chance to look closer. Yep, a little female dog! 1
Tyler grabbed Snow with a blank face, whose rear was smeared with poop. He said goodbye to Caroline and took Denton back to his place.
Caroline and Raven carefully avoided the trail of poop and pee footprints on the floor as they returned to their apartment.
A few minutes later, Caroline came out again with a mop and cloth. She decided to clean the hallway.
After all, Tyler had been the one who cleaned up the blood there yesterday.
When she finally finished and was about to go to bed, Tyler’s door opened.
He walked out looking exhausted, with Silver on his shoulder and Snow at his feet. The pup was already trying to bolt the moment she stepped outside.

Tyler quickly caught her by the scruff of her neck.
“Caroline, how did Raven learn to use the bathroom?”
Caroline blinked, surprised by the question.
Then she noticed Snow in Tyler’s hand, and her jaw dropped.
The poor pup, dangling in midair, was peeing. Right onto Tyler’s shoe.
Tyler’s face had turned icy cold.
“I’ve got some cat litter at home,” Caroline said quickly. “She can learn to use it. But she’s still young; she probably can’t hold it yet.”
Caroline had raised dogs before, and judging by Snow’s size, she couldn’t be more than three months old.
Puppies under five months were like human babies—their bodies weren’t fully developed yet, and they couldn’t control themselves. They’d just go whenever they felt like it.
But then, Caroline came up with an idea.
She called Raven over and started talking to him, explaining everything in detail. Maybe just maybe he could help teach Snow where to do her business.
Raven walked up to Snow with a look of mild disgust. He bared his teeth and made a low chuffing sound for a long moment.
Then, Snow let out a howl, like a wolf–like she was refusing to back down.
Raven’s face instantly went flat. He batted her once with a paw.
Snow went quiet.
Raven turned and stalked back into the house, like he’d just performed some great deed and wanted no praise.
“Oh! Things should be okay now.”
Caroline handed Tyler two bags of cat litter and showed him how to use them.
Tyler nodded. He looked relieved.
Later he said Snow still couldn’t fully control herself, but she now understood to use the litter

box. The place was a lot cleaner right away.
Just as Caroline thought everything was settled and was heading back inside, Tyler called her.
“Caroline.”
She stopped and turned. Tyler dangled his space ring in his hand and shook it a little.
