Natalie glanced apologetically at Madison, then pleaded with Liam, “Lammy, even if it’s just for the child, can you give me one last chance?”

Liam was silent for a moment, looking at her still flat stomach.

Natalie had been pregnant for less than a month, so it wasn’t visible yet; but her face was pale, her lips drained of color, and she looked terribly fatigued.

He struggled to suppress his disgust and nodded. “Let’s talk in the ward.”

Back in the hospital room, Liam walked ahead and stood by the window.

Natalie followed him in, then closed the door behind her.

Liam said, “Now it’s just the two of us. What do you really want to say?”

Natalie bit her lip and showed him what she was holding.

Liam looked at the small white piece in her palm and frowned. “What is this?”

Natalie said, “I checked online. I’m still in the early stages, so I can take abortion pills directly. There’s no need for surgery.”

Liam looked slightly shocked. “Where did you get it?”

“I bought it secretly online. Madison doesn’t know,” she said.

Liam straightened up, his expression complex. “So what trick are you trying this time?”

“Do you really think I’m that bad?” Natalie gave a bitter smile. “I’ve thought about it. I’ve tried, and I’ve made mistakes, but I still can’t win you back. I’ve accepted it.

“You love Ms. Harper so much. I don’t want the child to become an obstacle between you two. So… I’m willing to end the pregnancy and let you be together.”

At her words, Liam’s expression softened a little. “Natalie, I really can’t live without Freya.”

“I know,” Natalie said with a bitter smile. “You’ve been by my side these past days, but I know your heart belongs only to Ms. Harper. I’ve seen it clearly and understood. Rather than all three of us suffering, it’s better if only I hurt. At least you both can be happy.”

Liam walked over and helped her sit on the edge of the bed. “Have a seat.”

Natalie continued, “Lammy… no, I shouldn’t call you that anymore. I should call you Mr. Grant. This afternoon, find a way to get Madison out. I’ll take this pill and put an end to this matter once and for all.”

Liam nodded. “Let’s go with that, then.”

He walked out of the room feeling genuinely happy for the first time in days.

This matter was finally coming to an end.

He took out his phone and booked a flight ticket to Sairo for tonight.

He still couldn’t hold back his joy and wanted to share it with someone.
