His Untamed Rose novel Chapter 135

Linus was having dinner with clients from Yuria when he stumbled across that photo. Shocked, he dropped his bowl, which shattered on the floor. “Shit!”

He quickly apologized to his clients and signaled for his assistant to take over the meeting.

After tracking down the location of the flower shop, Linus ordered his driver to get him there as fast as possible.

On the way, he called Stella. She sounded completely unfazed, idly picking at her nails. “Since when do you care so much about my Instagram updates? I just posted that—what, you want to play the hero now?”

“I’m warning you, Stella. Delete that photo and take her to the hospital—now. If she gets hurt, not even I can protect you!”

Linus’s voice was laced with genuine fury; he wasn’t joking.

Only then did Stella rein in her playful attitude and hang up with a huff.

She turned to Lumina. “Alright, stop messing with those flowers. Just wrap up the whole bunch—I’ll take them all.”

Then, glancing at her friends, she added, “Can one of you get a doctor to bandage her hand?”

Lumina calmly lowered her hands, the blood trickling from her fingertips painting a startling picture.

“I’m fine,” she said quietly, dabbing away the blood with a tissue before tossing it aside.

When Linus burst in, Stella was just coming out, arms full of flowers.

Lumina sat alone inside the shop, her back to the door. The overhead lights cast a lonely glow over her small frame, making her look even more fragile. On the counter nearby, water and scissors were strewn about, and several bloodstained tissues lay scattered.

Linus’s brow furrowed in concern, but Stella didn’t even notice.

She bounced over to him, holding out a flower with a grin. “Come on, she and Cedric are over. Why are you so angry? Here, this one’s for you.”

Smack—a sharp slap landed across Stella’s smiling face as Linus swung his hand.

She was his sister, after all, so he held back—barely.

Stella’s friends froze, shocked. Linus was notorious in their circles for doting on his sister, always spoiling her with a gentle temperament. No one could have imagined he’d actually strike her, and over something like this.

Stella herself was stunned, the bouquet slipping from her grasp and scattering crimson petals across her shoes and the floor.

“You… You hit me?” she gasped, clutching her reddening cheek, her voice rising in a tearful shriek. “Linus, how dare you? I’m your sister! You hit me for that woman?!”

Linus seized her slender arm in a firm grip, squeezing her wrist together in his palm. “Let me make this clear. I’m only this harsh because you’re my sister. I will not stand for your spoiled, vicious behavior.”
