I Made $900 Trillion In 24 Hours novel Chapter 13

After crushing his landlord, Barry decided to buy a house and become his own landlord.

Evelyn Raven had left Barry the White mansion off the coast of North Hills in her will, but due to his divorce with Laura, his ex-wife took claim of the mansion.

The White mansion was built in Diamond estate, one of the most luxurious estates in North Hills.

As soon as the taxi cab driver dropped him at the motel and drove off, Barry took out his phone and called Veronica.

He was worth $900 Trillion. It's about time he put his money to good use.

Veronica answered on the first ring. “Good afternoon, Barry. How can I be of help to you?”

“I need a house,” Barry answered. “Preferably at Diamond estate.”

“What kind of house do you want, Barry?” Veronica asked.

Barry smiled. “The best money can buy.”

“Say no more,” Veronica replied him. “I'm going to contact the real estate board. You don't mind me giving them your number do you?”

Moses shook his head. “No I don't.”

“Very well, Barry,” Veronica said. “A real estate agent would contact you an hour from now.”

“Thank you, Veronica, I appreciate it,” Barry said sincerely.

“I'm going to give you my assistant number,” Veronica carried on. “He's very reliable and trustworthy. Whatever you need, just call him. His name is Hobbs.”

Barry understood. Veronica was a busy woman. His money needed tender care and attention.

She already has her work cut out for her.

“It's fine,” Barry responded. “Thank you for everything, Veronica.”

Veronica laughed. “My late grandfather calls me Ronnie. I wouldn't mind you calling me that.”

Barry smiled. “Ronnie it is.”

Barry received a call from the real estate agent an hour later while eating lunch with Snow at the motel.

“Barry, where are you going?” Snow asked as she watched Barry preparing to go out.

“I have an interview with a very wealthy man,” Barry lied to her. “He promised to give me a job.”

Snow's eyes widened. “Really? What about the Raven family? Aren't you working for them anymore?”

Barry wore a baseball cap. “The only reason I put up with the Raven family was because of Madam Evelyn. Now that she's gone, we have to fend for ourselves. The Raven family aren't so generous anymore.”

Raven still hasn't told Snow that Laura had divorced him. He decided to reveal that information after they've moved into their new home.

“Let me come with you,” she urged him, her eyes burning with determination. “I can work as well. You don't have to bear all these burden alone. Let me help you, brother. I'm not a child anymore.”

Barry regarded his sister closely, surprised at her resolve.

Then he smiled, ruffling her hair. “Take it easy, Snow. You belong in school. Leave the heavy duty to me. Trust me.”
