Donna grabbed her phone and started a video call with Mrs. Salmeron, making sure the camera caught everything.

“Ma’am, look—I'm bringing Ms. Watts back to you just like you asked!”

Kristen was still in her hospital gown, practically being dragged along the floor. She looked a mess, her hair all over the place, and there was nothing but humiliation and anger in her eyes as she glared up at Donna.

Stupid old woman. She swore she'd make her pay for this someday.

“Clive, help me!” Kristen’s eyes lit up when she saw Clive rushing over. She called out to him, sounding desperate and helpless.

Clive struggled to keep his anger in check. “Let her go. Right now.”

Cameron didn’t hesitate, pushing aside one of the bodyguards holding Kristen. “Don’t touch her!”

Seeing Kristen so shaken and vulnerable made Cameron’s heart ache with both worry and anger. He clenched his fists, trying to hold it together.

“Have you all lost your minds? You’re dragging someone out of a hospital? Want me to call the cops right now?”

Mrs. Salmeron’s voice cut through the chaos from Donna’s phone. Even through the screen, her tone was sharp and commanding. She frowned when she saw Cameron.

“Cameron, this is Salmeron family business. Why are you getting involved? Move aside.”
