Kneeling for a Second Chance (Sebastian and Valeria) novel Chapter 196

Chapter 196

The lights shone bright in the auction house that night. On the display stand, the pearl was flawlessly round, with a lustrous sheen that dazzled. It captivated every guest’s gaze and fetched $80 thousand dollars for a single piece.

Sebastian would never tell Valeria. Otherwise, she might be too intimidated to wear it or even accept it.

However, at that moment, the pearl lay at her neckline as nothing more than an accessory. She totally outshone it. Her skin held a glow finer and more radiant than the pearl itself.

Lowering his head, Sebastian caught the pearl between his lips. His teeth grazed her just enough to leave a delicate mark. The way he sucked stung just enough to make her skin tingle.

Valeria shivered, trying to push him away.

He yielded for an instant before leaning in again, brushing her earlobe with his lips. Don’t accuse me of things like that again.

Then, he added, My princess, you’re the only one I’ve ever courted.

His rich, magnetic voice echoed in the cramped bathroom, leaving Valeria blushing and breathless. That kind of endearment was more than she could handle, sweeping her under like a sudden whirlpool.

Princess?Valeria said. Don’t call me that.

You’re harder to please than any princess. I have to make an appointment to sleep with you. Every gift I give gets sent back. My calls go unanswered, and my texts get ignored. Not to mention, you’re always aloof. No one is harder to handle than you,he remarked.

Valeria bit her lip lightly. I’m not aloof.

Sebastian hadn’t messaged her either, nor had he shared anything about his life. Just like before, their conversations were simple, with only a few sparse lines.

The moment she finished the sentence, a fierce bite clamped onto her earlobe. The teeth snapped together like a predator tearing into its prey.

Before Valeria could cry out, Sebastian’s hand gripped her neck, cutting off her voice entirely. She closed her eyes, murmuring between blurred lips for him to be gentler.

His kisses were always like a predator’s claim.

Valeria frowned as she pressed her tongue forward in an attempt to evade him.

When Sebastian finally let her go, she covered her mouth with her hand.

He lifted her onto the edge of the sink and watched as she shook her head hard. You won’t even let me kiss you, and you still claim you’re not hard to please.

II burned my mouth when I was eating earlier. It hasn’t healed yet, and you’re being too rough,Valeria murmured in protest.

He lowered his head slightly and bent forward with one hand braced on the sink. His other hand caught her chin and tilted it upward.

Pressing through her soft cheek, he pried at her mouth, yet her lips stayed tightly shut.

Sebastian’s grip tightened, and he slid two fingers inside her mouth to part her lips, pressing lightly against her teeth.

His gaze fixed intently on the obvious burn on the inside of her mouthit was visibly red.

Sebastian frowned, brushing it lightly with his fingertip.
