Married to Mafia Boss novel Chapter 115

Chapter 115

Alia POV

Cain knew full well that I couldn’t abandon my mother. By saying what he did, he was certain I would

return to Montellano.

As Cain hung up the phone and I heard the busy tone, I bit my lip in anger. I didn’t even dare to imagine what my mother had endured last night.

I should have stayed with her. I should have known that Cain, a man worse than a beast, wouldn’t give up so easily. Why did I leave her alone in the hospital?

I hated myself for being so blinded by happiness that I couldn’t even handle the simplest things.

Thinking of my mother in danger, my mind was a chaotic mess. I paced anxiously in place before finally thinking to call Marco.

When I called, no one picked up on Marco’s end. He was probably busy. I had no choice but to send him a WeChat message, briefly explaining the situation.

I had to get back to Montellano as quickly as possible. I had to rescue my mother from that hellhole. I couldn’t let her stay in such a dark, hopeless place alone any longer.

By the time I arrived at the Rossi family villa after taking a flight and switching between several modes of transportation, the sky had already started to darken.

I raised my hand to ring the doorbell, waiting nervously for someone to open the gate.

The weather in Montellano was much colder than in Potano City. I had left in such a hurry that I didn’t have time to grab a jacket. Now, I was shivering uncontrollably, my teeth chattering from the cold.

After leaving for three years, I thought I’d never return here. I never imagined it would be so easy to come back.

They say the most precious thing in the world is family. But in my home, what is family worth?

My father, my sisterthey’re not even worth as much as a stranger on the street.

You still have the nerve to come back, Maria said coldly, standing behind the iron gate and glaring at me. Are you here to tear this family apart?

Open the gate. I want to see my mother,I replied. I didn’t want to waste words with Maria. I came back only to take my mother away.

Get lost. You’re not welcome here,Maria said, turning to leave.

Are you deaf? I want to see my mother. Who wants to come back to this socalled home of yours?I

1 hadn’t spitled this scene with her for the little wet the staged a few days ago, and now she was hers Rausting herself in front of me.

Muris, open the gate and let your sister in, Cain’s voice came from behind her.

Maris never defied Cain’s orders. If he told her to open the gate, she would open it. Whatever he asked, she

did.

As soon as the gate opened, I rushed inside, determined to find my mother. But two servants, under Gain’s orders, blocked my path.

Cain spoke unhurriedly, If you want to see your mother, you’ll have to agree to one condition.

I’m not agreeing to anything. I snapped. Looking at the face before me, if it weren’t for the faint blood relation we shared, I would have spat in his face.

You came here on your own. Don’t blame anyone else, Cain said with a cold smirk. Take Alia to her room and get her dressed up. Then call the eldest son of the Castro family and ask when he’ll arrive.

Hah-

I stared at the man in front of me. Was this beast really my father?

If he truly were my father, would he force me into a relationship with another man against my will?

At that moment, all I saw in Cain’s eyes was selfinterest. There wasn’t the slightest trace of familial affection.

I took a deep breath and said, Cain, I want to see my mother. If you have even a shred of humanity left, let me see her. Let me take her away.

Once the eldest son of the Castro family has done what needs to be done with you, I’ll let you see your mother,Cain replied, waving his hand to signal the two servants to act.

My icy gaze swept over Cain, Maria, and the two servants. Suddenly, I laughed. Cain, do you think you can do whatever you want? If you dare to mess with me, I’ll die before I let you succeed.

No, how could I bear to die? I was just throwing out harsh words to scare them.
