Married to Mafia Boss
Chapter 134
Alia POV
The alley was covered with thick snow. Each step I took left a deep footprint, but these footprints were quickly covered by falling snowflakes, leaving no trace behind.
Exiting the alley, I looked up at the sky and took a deep breath of cold air.
Mom, I will never forgive those who hurt you.
After leaving the café, I suddenly felt anxious for some reason.
This anxiety came on strongly, making me uneasy.
I suddenly wanted to see Marco, right away, and throw myself into his arms.
Marco served as the CEO of Cortez Technology while also being involved in Black Eagle’s other projects. Their godfather was really using Marco as if he were several people.
I took out my phone to check the time. It was almost lunchtime. I might as well go to Black Eagle Group to see Marco and take him to lunch–I couldn’t let him go hungry.
Half an hour later, I stood at the foot of the Black Eagle Tower.
This building was once a landmark in Montrano and a workplace many talented people aspired
to enter.
Although there were recent rumors that Black Eagle’s domestic headquarters would move to Portano, the building was still bustling with orderly activity.
Because the building had security, and I wasn’t a Black Eagle employee, I couldn’t even get through the front door.
I had no choice but to wander around the area. For some reason, standing near the Black Eagle Group building, I felt as if someone was watching me, as if my every move was under
surveillance.
I couldn’t help looking around. People were coming and going, luxury cars flowed endlessly, and everyone was focused on their own business… who would care about me?
I shook my head, trying to rid myself of these strange thoughts.

Chapter 134
After walking around a bit, just as I took out my phone to call Marco, the automatic doors of Black Eagle Tower opened, and Marco, dressed in a silver–gray suit, strode out surrounded by a group of people.
He was talking as he walked, with some people taking notes and others nodding continuously. Everyone’s expression was serious.
The moment I saw Marco’s handsome, focused face, I suddenly felt relieved.
No matter where he went, there were always many people following him. What could possibly happen to him?
Sometimes, I wondered: if Marco’s presence was so powerful, what kind of person was the legendary, decisive godfather of Black Eagle?
The godfather’s surname was Vittorio, and Marco’s surname was also Vittorio. Could Marco be working so hard because he was related to the godfather of Black Eagle?
As I was thinking, Marco and his group walked to where I was standing.
Instinctively, I stepped aside and softly called out, “Marco.”
“Hmm.” Marco coldly grunted in response and continued walking without pausing.
I greeted him, but he didn’t even look at me…
Was he really that busy?
Marco, who had already walked some distance away, suddenly stopped and turned back to look
at me: “Alia?”
Clearly, he hadn’t expected me to be there, and his expression was somewhat surprised.
Judging by his expression and tone, I understood that when I had greeted him earlier, he truly hadn’t noticed me, living up to the saying “eyes straight ahead.”
After walking some distance, he finally realized that the voice he had heard was mine. This man’s reaction time was certainly long.
Marco turned to look at me, and the gazes of those following him also fell on me.
With everyone’s eyes on me, I instantly became the center of attention, which made me uncomfortable. I could only smile awkwardly at Marco: “It’s nothing, please continue with your
work.”
