Josefina asked with a hint of worry, "You're not planning on sending him away, are you?"
Oliver chuckled, "No way. I know Westwood pretty well. Once he gets there, I'll handle everything. He'll be more than happy with the arrangements."
Josefina rarely spent time wandering around Westwood. She was either buried in her lab work, designing clothes, sketching, or juggling a bunch of other tasks. Naturally, her knowledge of Westwood couldn't compare to Oliver's.
She nodded in agreement, deciding to let Oliver take care of things when the time came.
Unbeknownst to her, a fleeting glint of slyness danced in Oliver's eyes.
They wheeled their luggage to the shore and headed to the airport. Oliver had splurged on first-class tickets, and they settled in side by side.
...
Lena brewed a pot of fruit tea and knocked on Dorian's door. "Dorian, I made some fruit tea. Want to try some?"
"Thanks," Dorian said, closing his laptop. Lena felt a pang of worry. Did Dorian think she might see something on his screen and betray the company? Little did she know, it was just one of Dorian's habits.
"Dorian, it's scorching out there. You should take care of yourself. Have some fruit tea to cool down. I've been trying my hand at baking lately. Once I get it right, you'll be the first to taste my pastries."
Dorian hadn't even touched his tea, sitting calmly in his chair. "Lena, since I've been back, I noticed you're always home. Weren't you working at the hospital? Not anymore?"
Mentioning the hospital soured Lena's mood. She looked down, sadness in her voice, "I put my heart into that hospital competition, but something went wrong. My sister was there that day too, and she seemed to visit Ellory's office. I wonder what she was doing there."
