"Dummy boy, see that? Josefina's cozying up to the Harrison family's golden boy. She's got connections, man. Butter her up a bit, maybe she'll help you out. And if she can't, then just drop her, no big deal."

Dorian, holding a glass of red wine, swapped Josefina's champagne for juice.

"Josie, take it easy on the booze. Have some juice instead."

Josefina, now holding a glass of juice, turned her back to the crowd.

"Dorian, you should cut back on the drinking too," Josefina advised.

"Alright, looks like Dorian's on juice as well." And with that, Dorian swapped his wine for juice.

The two of them stood there, drinks in hand, laughing and chatting away.

As everyone speculated about Josefina and Dorian's relationship, Oliver showed up.

It was rare for Oliver to be seen at such events, but there he was, instantly drawing everyone's attention. They all wanted to greet him.

Oliver ignored them and walked straight to Josefina. To the onlookers, it looked like he was there to greet Dorian.

"Long time no see, Dorian."

Dorian lifted his drink, and the two clinked glasses, each taking a sip.

Josefina stood aside as Oliver extended his glass to her. "Ms. Josefina, a pleasure to see you."

The look in Oliver's eyes was so intense it was almost palpable.

Thankfully, with his back to the crowd, their dynamic went unnoticed.
