Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 438

Orla found herself at a crossroads, struggling to define her relationship with Xavier. Calling him her boyfriend didn’t quite sit right—they weren’t officially together. But saying he wasn’t would disregard all their dates and shared moments.

As she wrestled with this dilemma, Xavier stood up, walked over to her, and declared with unwavering confidence, “I’m crazy about Orla. She’s my girlfriend.”

Orla, flustered, turned to Josefina, who had been witnessing the scene. “Let me talk to Xavier outside, then I’ll explain everything to you,” she whispered.

But Josefina waved her off. “No need for explanations. Actually, I have something to say to you.”

Xavier, unable to contain himself, snapped, “Josefina, zip it!”

Orla, shocked by Xavier’s rudeness, insisted, “Xavier, how dare you talk to Ms. Josefina like that? Apologize, now!”

“Why should I apologize to her? She might be your friend, but I’m your boyfriend,” Xavier retorted, confused.

Orla’s voice was firm. “Apologize, Xavier. If you can’t do that, then don’t bother showing your face around me again!”

Xavier was stunned. Was Josefina really that important to Orla?

Before the tension could ease, Josefina spoke up. “Orla, have you really not looked into who Xavier is? Aren’t you worried he might be seeing other people?”

Orla’s gaze shot to Xavier, her eyes filled with disbelief and hurt. Xavier, frantic, said, “Orla, she’s lying. My feelings for you are real, as clear as day!”

Undeterred, Josefina pulled up a contact named Ruby and dialed her number. Xavier watched, clueless until Ruby’s voice rang out.

“Ruby, what’s your relationship with Xavier? Yes, the one whose mother is Marina.”

Ruby’s voice was sharp and defensive. “Josefina, have you lost your mind? Xavier’s my boyfriend, and he’s promised to marry me. Don’t even think about taking him away from me.”

Josefina’s reply was cold. “Keep that trash to yourself, then.”
