Josefina was practically buzzing with excitement at the thought. If Lena was coming to her company for a custom-tailored outfit, it surely meant she was impressed by their reputation for quality. Spending big bucks on a dress had to be for someone special's eyes only. Regardless of the reason, Josefina was all in for taking the order.
"Make sure you let me know when Lena's people come to pick up the dress," she instructed. "I want to be the one to follow up on this lead!"
This could be her chance to uncover the mysterious man.
"Sure thing, I'll call them right away."
After hanging up, Josefina couldn't wait to share the news with Oliver.
"Oliver, what do you think? No birthdays, no parties coming up. She's splurging on a gown, must be to impress someone dear, right?"
Oliver's voice, smooth as velvet, was laced with indulgence. "Josie, you're spot on. If it were me, I'd definitely dress to the nines just to see you."
Josefina was speechless...
And then, somehow, she was the topic of conversation. Oliver sure knew how to charm.
When Josefina didn't respond, Oliver continued, "Josie, your analysis is spot-on. If Lena's dressing up for a rendezvous with this mystery person, we need to keep a close watch."
"I'll have Orla inform me, then I'll proceed with the tracking."
"Let me know when it happens, Josie. I'll come with you."
"No need, I can handle it on my own."
Oliver's voice was commanding yet caring, "Josie, let me come with you. If you don't, I'll worry. We should go together."
His voice had a captivating allure, filled with concern.
Josefina considered it for a moment and then agreed, "Alright, I'll let you know."
