Amelia looked at Claudia nervously, hoping to fix whatever mistake she thought she’d made.
Claudia noticed the misunderstanding and shook her head. “It’s fine. Everything’s perfect. I’m not leaving.”
Amelia let out a huge sigh of relief, then smiled. “That’s good to hear. This is your grapefruit juice. Mr. Romero said you haven’t been feeling well lately, so he asked us not to serve you alcohol.”
Claudia thanked her and took the drink.
Everyone in the room stared in confusion. Since when did a luxury resort remember every guest’s health and drink preferences–and have the manager personally deliver their juice?
Maverick, however, realized something was off. “What room? Didn’t I book every single room here?”
Amelia looked at him strangely. “Yes, sir, you did.”
Maverick pointed angrily at Claudia. “Then what’s her deal? Claudia, don’t tell me you used my name to scam the hotel into giving you a room!”
Then he turned to Amelia, his tone sharp. “I paid for the entire place! You have no right to give her a room!”
Amelia’s expression darkened. “Sir, please show some respect.”
Then she frowned in confusion. “Your rooms are indeed under your name. We didn’t make any mistake.”

acting all calm. You’ve already hooked up with someone powerful, huh? Claudia, you’re unbelievable. Being the Lancasters‘ daughter isn’t enough for you–you just had to go throw yourself at some old man.”
Before he could blink, fresh grapefruit juice splashed across his face.
Claudia casually cleaned her ear with her finger. “Wow. That barking is really annoying.”
Then she turned to Amelia with a polite smile. “I love this juice, but you don’t need to bring more later. I’ll just drink what’s at the bar.”
Amelia smiled back. “Of course. We’ve stocked plenty more in the villa as well.”
Maverick stood frozen, dripping and stunned, before rage finally hit him. “Damn it, Claudia! You threw juice at me? You think having a sugar daddy makes you special? Don’t get too proud -you’ll be dumped before tomorrow! Just you wait!”
He wiped his face and glared at Amelia. “I booked this entire resort! Kick her out, now!”
His demand was answered not with words, but with another glass of wine.
Then another. And another.
