All the kidnappers had been thrown into the lower cabin and were taken away that night by Clint and David on a speedboat.

In fact, Sterling’s men had been secretly following the yacht at a distance the entire time.

Clint and David thought this would be an easy, all–expenses–paid trip, so they had been playing cards and having fun until they got called to work in the middle of the night.

Furious, they made sure the kidnappers got “special treatment.”

Grinning, Claudia threw herself into his arms, her fingers sliding over his abs. “Not as good- looking as my Sterling, though.”

Sterling let out a low, cold laugh. “So, you did look?”

Sensing danger, Claudia’s eyes darted nervously. She made a tiny gap between her fingers. “Just a little bit?”

Clinging to his waist, she whined softly, “I didn’t mean to look, okay? I walked in, and they were already… you know…

”

Sterling rubbed his knuckles against her cheek. “Then should I help wash those eyes clean, Baby?”

Without thinking, Claudia glanced at his chest.

A cold draft passed between them. Sterling raised a brow. “Still looking?”

He refused to let her off easy.

“Baby…” His voice was low and rough. “Promise me you won’t take risks anymore, okay?”

Sweat rolled down his sculpted back as he kissed her again and again.

“Mmm…” she whimpered, shaking her head instead of answering.

“Come on, Baby,” he coaxed softly, his breath hot against her ear, “my Claudia’s always been so good for me. Say it, no more danger, alright?” He pulled back just enough to watch her pout in frustration before leaning in to kiss her again.

After teasing her until she was desperate, he murmured, “Claudia, do you want it?”

She wrapped her arms around his neck, knowing exactly what he wanted her to say, but she was stubborn, refusing to give in.

“You’re such a jerk, Sterling,” she gasped out, trembling.

He sighed deeply.

How could she be so stubborn, so frustrating, yet so heartbreakingly adorable?
