Shattered Then Healed By His Love (by Haley Blanton) novel Chapter 132

Chapter 132 Wet Hair And Warnings

Everyone relaxed a little after hearing the doctor’s explanation.

Jackson’s brows stayed tightly furrowed. “Then, if we followed standard treatment methods, how would this be handled?”

The doctor’s expression turned grave. “Most likely, only surgery would work. But with Gabriel’s age, there’s no guarantee he’d survive the procedure. Traditional medicine is indeed the best approach; it would take a doctor with exceptional mastery to turn this around.”

The implication was clear–Natalie’s skills were nothing short of extraordinary.

Victoria and Jackson exchanged a look, their faces clouded with frustration.

Marcus, silent until now, finally spoke. “James, remove anyone who doesn’t need to be here. Don’t interfere with Ms. Foster’s treatment.”

James stepped forward without hesitation and ushered Jackson and the others out of the room.

Once the room had quieted, Marcus‘ gaze shifted to Natalie.

She hardly said a word as she continued the treatment, her movements precise and steady, her technique refined to perfection.

Marcus leaned casually against the wall, watching her quietly; his face was unreadable, save for the hint of cool detachment that never seemed to leave him.

When Gabriel’s condition stabilized, Natalie crouched by his bedside, her voice soft. “Grandpa, how are you feeling now? Is your breathing a little easier?”

Gabriel had grown thinner, his cheeks sunken.

He managed a faint smile. “Much better…”

“Good. Then get some rest.”

Natalie carefully removed the needles from his back, one by one, then turned to Stella. “His condition has stabilized. Now, it’s about careful recovery–make sure he eats foods that improve circulation and help with blood stasis. I’ll write out a list for you later; have the auntie prepare soups for him.”

Stella nodded quickly, her expression complicated in a way Natalie hadn’t seen before. “All right.”

Marcus looked toward the butler. “Change the bedding.”

“Yes, sir.”

Natalie picked up her medical kit and headed for the door. As she passed Marcus, she gave him a polite nod but said nothing.

Out in the hallway, the voices and footsteps of Jackson and the others were gone.

Then, from behind her, came a low call. “Ms. Foster.”
