Stand Me Up? I'll Marry His Billionaire Uncle novel Chapter 114

Luna caught sight of the woman reflected in the shop window and let the barest hint of a smile tug at her lips. "Tristan, let's check out this boutique," she suggested.

Tristan had just lowered his head to glance at his phone, missing the woman inside entirely. He locked the screen and smiled. "Sure, let's go in. If you see something you like, pick out a few."

"Sunny, have you found anything you like? Do you want to try something on?" Zara's voice rang out, oblivious to the earlier encounter.

By the time Zara finished speaking, Luna was already gliding toward them, arm looped through Tristan's in a display of effortless poise.

"Sunny, Zara, what a surprise to see you both here." Luna's voice was gentle, almost saccharine.

Zara rolled her eyes the moment she heard Luna's voice. Just her luck—of all people, why did it have to be the mistress herself?

Tristan's expression tightened as he fixed his gaze on Sunny, unable to look away.

Today Sunny wore a peach-pink maxi dress that set off the fair blush of her cheeks. She rarely dressed in such soft, feminine colors, and the change took Tristan off guard—his heart skipped a beat.

Luna, clenching her teeth, couldn't help but notice the shift in his gaze. She quickly tried to reclaim his attention. "Tristan, I want to try that purple gown. I think it would look gorgeous on me. Will you buy it for me?" She pointed at the very same dress Sunny had been eyeing.

"Excuse me?" Zara shot Luna a sideways glare. "Sunny saw that dress first. Ever heard of first come, first served?"

Luna bit her lip and blinked prettily at Sunny. "Sunny, I just fell in love with that dress the moment I walked in. Would you mind letting me have it?"

Tristan, meanwhile, couldn't take his eyes off Sunny. Truthfully, purple was much too bold for Luna—her gentle looks couldn't carry such a striking color. But she was determined nonetheless.

Even after they'd left, Zara was still fuming. "Sunny, why did you give in to her like that?"

Sunny just smiled. "The color was far too loud—there's hardly ever an occasion for it, and Luna can't really pull it off. If she wants it so badly, let her have it."

"Exactly! She's so plain, she'll look ridiculous in that dress. Honestly, my brother must be blind to fall for her." As soon as she said it, Zara realized her slip. "Sunny, I didn't mean it like that. I wasn't insulting you—I was calling my brother an idiot!"

Sunny just laughed it off. "Don't worry about it. Let's go browse somewhere else. I might need a dress for a dinner party this Saturday, so, my dear princess, come help me pick something out?"

On the fifth floor, a boutique with striking décor caught their eye.

"Wow, Sunny, this dress looks like it was made for you. Look at that sparkle—it's gorgeous!"
